• 2022: First-team Associated Press All-American. Started all 13 games at LT.
• 2023: Finalist for the Outland Trophy (nation's top interior offensive/defensive lineman) and Lombardi Award (nation's top college OL/DL). First-team Associated Press All-American. Started 12 games at LT.
• Father, John, played OL at Iowa and was a first-round pick by Kansas City in 1984 before earning two Pro Bowl selections. Brother, Mark, played hockey at Minnesota and in the NHL.

• 2021: Freshman All-SEC Team. Played in all 15 games with seven starts (31-447-14.4, 5 TDs receiving; 4-44-11.0, TD rushing; 5-82-16.4 PR) for the national champions.
• 2022: Second-team All-SEC. Tied for the team lead with 7 receiving TDs. Played in all 15 games with 14 starts (58-762-13.1 receiving; 7-134-19.1, 2 TDs rushing; 16-197-12.3 PR) for the national champions. 
• 2023: Won the Wuerffel Trophy for community service. Finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy (aka "the Academic Heisman"). Named to the AFCA Allstate Good Works Team for his community service work. Played in nine games with one start (30-478-15.9, 2 TDs receiving; 2-38-19.0, TD rushing; 1-15-15.0 KR). Missed the start of the season with a back injury, also hurt his ankle late in the year.

• 2023: Won the Lott IMPACT Award (Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community, Tenacity), named after College and Pro Football Hall of Fame DB Ronnie Lott. Second-team All-Big Ten Conference. Led the team with 95 tackles. Started all 15 games for the national champions (2 TFL, 2 PBUs).
• Spent the first nine years of his life in Haiti. Entered an orphanage after his father passed away. Was adopted in 2012 by the Colsons, who spent time in Haiti to help rebuild after the devastating 2010 earthquake.
