The Los Angeles Chargers joined the South Bay community to celebrate and sponsor Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce's Second Annual Lemonade Day. Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches young students how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand. The Bolts supported the event with player appearances from offensive linemen, Foster Sarrell and Trey Pipkins Jr., as well as hosting a lemonade stand selling "Lightning Lemonade" with all proceeds benefitting local El Segundo nonprofit, The Friendship Foundation.

The City of Los Angeles' Youth Development Department (YDD) revealed eye-catching recycling bins at City Hall during the April 19th City Council meeting, marking the finale of the Chargers' sustainability program sponsored by Ball Corporation. After final presentations in December, the winning team received funding from Ball Corporation to implement their project geared toward promoting and educating the community on aluminum recycling and sustainability practices.

The Chargers hosted their sponsored girls' flag football program, the Conquer Chargers, at Hoag Performance Center, where over 80 girls were in attendance. The group received a tour of the facility, watched film in the team meeting room, and practiced on the team's practice field. The group was welcomed by Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh and left with new backpacks, slides, hats, headbands, and other customized Chargers gear.

The Chargers hosted 72 boys' and girls' teams ranging from ages 8 to 18. The event showcased over 700 athletes, with winning teams from eleven divisions earning Oakley glasses and the opportunity to represent the Chargers at the 2024 NFL Flag Championships this summer in Canton, Ohio. This summer's NFL Championship Games will be televised for the first time ever on ESPN, ESPN+, and ABC.

The Los Angeles Chargers proudly presented two local stars with the inaugural LaDainian Tomlinson High School Player of the Year Award, sponsored by Nike and the National Football Foundation. Held at SoFi Stadium, Home of the Los Angeles Chargers, the NFF's annual postseason banquet welcomed over 200 student-athletes, coaches, and parents from Greater Los Angeles for an evening of recognition and celebration. More than 30 athletes were honored for their outstanding performance on the field, academic achievements, and community contributions throughout the past season. Following the highlight of the evening, the presentation of the two LaDainian Tomlinson High School Player of the Year Awards, attendees enjoyed a unique tour of the Chargers' locker room. Chargers Legend Larry English graced the event as the keynote speaker, imparting words of wisdom to inspire the next generation of athletes.

The Chargers hosted the third annual Bolts Community Crew Beach Cleanup presented by Toyota and supported by Ball Corporation. Over 550 pounds of litter were removed from Dockweiler Beach by volunteers in a day supported by the Surfrider Foundation – South Bay. Chargers CB Asante Samuel Jr. joined the volunteers to assist in the efforts to reduce litter on the beach and raise awareness about plastic pollution.

In honor of Women's History Month, the Chargers hosted the first Career Pathway Panel session for local high school Girls Flag Football players. The teams were invited to the Chargers practice facility to hear from inspiring women excelling in various fields and positions in the sports industry. Moderated by CBS Los Angeles' Jamie Maggio, the panel discussion highlighted the career possibilities available for women who love the game of football and offered advice and insight for the young athletes.

The Los Angeles Chargers, in partnership with Blessings in a Backpack and Verizon, hosted Verizon employees and Bolts Community Crew volunteers to pack 1,000 bags of food that will be distributed to Grape Street Elementary School students. Chargers Running Back Elijah Dotson and Chargers Legend and Assistant OL Coach Nick Hardwick joined the volunteers Saturday morning to pack and store the food at Hoag Performance Center.

The Chargers, in collaboration with the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD), hosted the 2nd annual kickoff event for the SDUSD middle school flag football program. The event, attended by 250 student-athletes, marked the beginning of the upcoming flag football season in SDUSD middle schools. Chargers legend Corey Luiget was on hand, sharing his wisdom and coaching expertise with the young athletes.

As part of their ongoing partnership with SDUSD, the Chargers contributed by providing essential startup flag kits for participating schools and helped purchase customized team jerseys. This collaborative effort supports the involvement of over 1,600 middle school boys and girls from 60 schools in the SDUSD middle school flag football program.

The Chargers hosted a kickoff event in both El Segundo and Cerritos for the opening week of action in the new Snoop & Housh Flag Football League!!

Partnering with multi-platinum recording artist and entertainment icon, Snoop Dogg, and 11-year veteran wide receiver and NFL Legend T.J. Houshmandzadeh, the co-ed flag football league is centered on empowering youth athletes in Greater Los Angeles, ages five-through-13, to help build their self-esteems, while learning the importance of teamwork in a safe, fun and inclusive environment through football skill development.

In honor of Read Across America Day, running back Elijah Dotson and Chargers Legend Corey Liuget teamed up with the Chargers Impact Fund to celebrate with the students at Lincoln Elementary School. The festivities included a special reading of Dr. Seuss books with the players in the classrooms, as well as a Scholastic Book Fair where all 360 students had the chance to select three books to take home at no cost.

The Los Angeles Chargers hosted a free camp for hundreds of youth football players to celebrate the upcoming launch of the Snoop & Housh Flag Football League. Pro Bowl WR T. J. Houshmandzadeh was on hand for the event, leading drills and interacting with the participants.

The Snoop & Housh Flag Football League will commence its inaugural season in March 2024 with games taking place across the Los Angeles area in El Segundo, Long Beach and Cerritos. Formed to empower youth athletes in their ability to develop football skills, build self-esteem and learn the importance of teamwork in a safe, fun, inclusive environment, the league is open to Pre-K through 8^th grade boys and girls of all skill levels. This off-season Chargers ownership and front office staff visited California State Prison, Los Angeles County located in Lancaster to continue fostering a relationship with Paws for Life K9 Rescue's incarcerated trainers and the animals they are saving. During the visit, Paws for Life's incarcerated trainers shared stories and offered insights on what the program has meant to them and how it has changed their outlook on life.

Bolt Academy scholars, a collaborative effort between the Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund, Inglewood Unified School District, and Brotherhood Crusade, were surprised by Chargers Defensive Back Michael Davis as they embarked on a guided tour of the immersive and interactive Hip-Hop America: The Mixtape Exhibit at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles. This experience provided a unique insight on the music industry and celebrated the global impact of hip-hop

The Chargers Impact Fund hosted a special Bolts Book Club event in celebration of Black History Month, in a continued effort to bring provide the youth in our community with an opportunity to promote literacy skill development and foster an affinity for the arts. Over 40 youth athletes from the Snoop Youth Football League visited the home of the Los Angeles Chargers, SoFi Stadium, to join former All-Pro special teamer and Chargers Legend Kassim Osgood for a read-along session of Pigskins to Paintbrushes: The Story of Football-Playing Artist Ernie Barnes, who also holds the title of former Chargers offensive lineman. The group also toured the acclaimed Kinsey African American Art and History Collection exhibit at SoFi Stadium, which itself features artwork crafted by Barnes.

At the conclusion of the event, the Los Angeles Chargers and the Chargers Impact Fund gifted each the 40-plus youth athletes an Amazon Kindle, enhancing the accessibility of literature as the students continue on their reading journeys, providing books and learning enhancement materials at their fingertips. Since the inception of the Bolts Book Club in 2020, the Chargers have donated over 12,000 books to youth throughout Southern California, inspiring literary development for our next generation.

The Chargers sponsored the 64th Annual Orange County North-South All-Star Game, held this weekend at Orange Coast College. The game, organized by Costa Mesa United, showcased 90 of the top players from the county. The South team, coached by St. Margaret High School's Dan O'Shea, emerged victorious for the 8th straight year over the North, led by Ray Fenton of Los Alamitos High School.

Kicker, Cameron Dicker, visited patients at CHLA for an afternoon of video games and fun. The Bolts partnered with Gamers Outreach to donate a brand-new GO Kart portable video game kiosk to the hospital. Thousands of patients for years to come will have access to these video games and experience joy in the midst of treatment.

Los Angeles Chargers players hosted multiple events throughout December to spread holiday cheer to children's groups across the Southland

The 33rd Annual Alex Spanos All-Star Classic held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Mira Mesa High School in San Diego, CA.

The Los Angeles Chargers proudly presented the 1st Annual LA City Gridiron Classic pitting the best players in the City Section against each other on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Birmingham High in Van Nuys, CA.

For the 19th consecutive year, the Bolts continued the tradition of surprising local elementary school students with brand new bikes for the holidays. The Chargers Impact Fund, Pechanga Resort & Casino, and Bikes for Kids Foundation provided a gift of a lifetime to over 100 second and third grade students at Sunrise Elementary School. Newly inducted Chargers Hall of Fame member, Antonio Gates, and Chargers Legends, Larry English and Kassim Osgood, and Pechanga Board President, Ken Perez, joined the festivities to surprise the students with the news. The bikes were built by Bolts Community Crew volunteers and kept hidden from the students until the Legends revealed the holiday surprise.

The Los Angeles Chargers teamed up with the LA Bowl to hold a girls flag football skills & drills camp at SoFi Stadium ahead of the annual bowl game held on the Bolts' home field

Sixty 2nd and 3rd grade students who achieved perfect attendance were selected from 122nd St. Elementary School to participate in the Chargers Impact Fund's Bolts Book Club at Wallis Annenberg PetSpace. They enjoyed a day of learning about animals which included reading to the adoptable pets, participating in puppy yoga, and going through an agility course. The students were joined by NFL Foundation Board Member and wife of Chargers Owner and Chairman of the Board, Susie Spanos, and Orange County high school flag football all-star and author, Erika Wein. After a full day of reading, each student went home with three books, including the children's book Wein wrote, "The Underdog."

The Los Angeles Chargers, LA Legends, and NFL Flag collaborated to host a high school girls flag college showcase for 165 athletes from across Southern California at Serra High School in Gardena. Six universities participated in the event, where girls were offered scholarships to play at their respective schools at the conclusion of the showcase.

The City of Los Angeles' Youth Development Department (YDD) gave their final presentations in the locker room for the Chargers' sustainability program sponsored by Ball Corporation. The five groups were tasked with ideating an event or campaign that promotes and educates the community on aluminum recycling and sustainability practices. The winning team will receive funding from Ball to implement their projects in Spring 2024.

The Chargers hosted Super Bowl participating teams from the Snoop Youth Football League in the team locker room at SoFi Stadium for a Character Playbook event with Everfi. Chargers linebacker Daiyon Henley and Senior Director of Player Engagement, Arthur Hightower, joined the teams for this special event presented by Nike. The focus of the event was on character, leadership, and mental health, preparing the young athletes in attendance for the next level of football and life.

The Chargers, in partnership with Nike, hosted the first girls' flag high school All-Star Game. This historic event served as a final celebration of the first officially sanctioned season of high school girls' flag football in the state of California. Prior to the kickoff at SoFi Stadium, the participating girls had the unique opportunity to be on set at NFL Network and were featured on Gameday Morning. This special experience added an extra layer of excitement for the 70 top athletes from Southern California who showcased their skills in the inaugural matchup between Los Angeles and Orange County.

The Chargers and American Airlines teamed up to invite local military members, veterans, and gold star families to be a part of our annual Boots & Bolts post-practice visits at Hoag Performance Center. Each visit includes a player meet & greet along with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Bolts Practice Facility.

In honor of Salute to Service month, the Chargers have joined forced with American Airlines to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Welcome Center at U.S. VETS – Long Beach. This space will serve as a beacon of hope for Veterans and provide them with the resources they need to enter into U.S. VETS programing.

The Los Angeles Chargers teamed up with presenting partner Lazy Dog Restaurants, LA Animal Services, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®), and Dogs Playing for Life to host an adoption event at East Valley Animal Shelter. Chargers Legend, Kassim Osgood, joined and helped promote the importance of adopting and fostering shelter animals. With the community's support, 46 animals were adopted at the event and went to their new fur-ever homes.

The Chargers decades-long commitment to honoring and supporting our country's military heroes, past and present, continued as the organization expressed its gratitude for the sacrifices of active-duty service members, veterans and their families during its annual Salute to Service game against Detroit in Week 10, 2023

The Chargers and American Airlines host T.A.P.S. Families for a special family fun day at Topgolf in El Segundo in the lead up to the Bolts annual Salute to Services game.

The Los Angeles Chargers hosted the inaugural Chargers Girls Flag Football Championship Tournament Presented by Oakley, welcoming 20 of the top high school programs from throughout Southern California. The 500 female athletes in attendance were joined by Chargers safety Derwin James Jr., and wide receivers Quentin Johnston and Derius Davis. This past February, the governing body of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) voted to approve Girls' Flag Football as a sanctioned high school sport in California. The Los Angeles Chargers were actively at the forefront of the initiative, playing an instrumental role in the state's unanimous approval.    

This two-day tournament served as the first playoffs and championship games for the state of California and was the most recent display of the Los Angeles Chargers' commitment to the growth of the sport. The organization is set to fully embrace the activation of Flag Football in the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles following the International Olympic Committee's recent announcement designating Flag Football as an official Olympic sport.

The Chargers partnered with Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation to host the team's sixth annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat Trail through the practice facility at Hoag Performance Center. Pediatric cancer patients and their families were invited on a Safari-themed adventure and were joined by Chargers players Michael Davis and Cameron Dicker as well as Chargers Pup River and 10 adoptable puppies from Wallis Annenberg PetSpace for a memorable Halloween evening.

Chargers All-Pro Safety Derwin James Jr. partnered with Wallis Annenberg GenSpace to host the first Derwin's Disco, a 70s-themed Homecoming party for over 120 members from the space's senior center. The Disco featured a light up dance floor and DJ who joined Derwin to make the day an unforgettable experience for the center and their members.

Sponsored by Ball Corporation, the Chargers have partnered with the City of Los Angeles' Youth Development Department (YDD) to create a program that focuses on educating youth and promoting recycling practices in Los Angeles. The youth council members from YDD toured SoFi Stadium with the venue's sustainability specialists and attended an orientation to learn more about the program.

The Chargers and Hoag Cancer Institute partnered to host a breathwork and meditation class for breast cancer patients, survivors and their loved ones. Joined by players Derwin James Jr. and Nick Niemann, the group was welcomed to Hoag Performance Center to enjoy a morning of relaxation and mindfulness leading up to the team's annual Crucial Catch game.

The Chargers partnered with "Got Her Back," a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of the Women's National Football Conference that exists to celebrate and empower girls and women in football, to host a nationwide youth girls' football camp. The San Diego Rebellion athletes and staff led the athletes through drills, competitions, and empowering breakout sessions. They were joined by twelve other cities nationwide for this free camp, which aimed to boost confidence and foster connections in the world of football.

The Chargers recently teamed up with 40 volunteers to pack 400 Joy Jars to lift the spirits children battling cancer.

Chargers cornerback Michael Davis spent time with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro LA in Bell Gardens as part of the Bolts Book Club for Latino Heritage Month. The Bolts Book Club provides free books to students in Southern California schools in an effort to inspire love for reading and increase literacy rates in children.

The Chargers, along with players Tuli Tuipulotu, Scott Matlock, Jordan McFadden, Terrell Bynum, CJ Okoye, and AJ Finley, hosted a Play 60 camp for over 200 3rd and 4th-grade students from Bobby Smith and Riley Elementary schools in Long Beach. The Play 60 event took place at Veterans Stadium, the home of Long Beach City College. For more than 15 years, the NFL Play 60 initiative has served as the league's national Youth Health and Wellness platform, empowering youth to engage in physical activity for at least 60 minutes a day and encouraging a healthy lifestyle. The PLAY 60 Movement continues to inspire and motivate the next generation of youth, working alongside our Play 60 partners to get them moving and playing for 60 minutes each day.

The Chargers visited California Medical Facility to observe Chargers Pup, River, in training and meet with prison administration and Paws for Life K9 Rescue dog trainers. Beginning in 2020, the Chargers Pup program has followed a service animal in training to highlight the importance of these dogs for people with disabilities. River is specifically being trained to become a service animal for a military Veteran with PTSD and will be the face of the team's animal welfare work this season.

Defensive lineman, Sebastian Joseph-Day, joined the Chargers and the Chargers Impact Fund to host a special assembly and distribute 750 meals to the 600+ students at 122nd St. Elementary School. In an effort to combat food insecurity in Los Angeles, the Impact Fund partnered with nonprofit, Blessings in a Backpack, to distribute these meals since they will provide essential nourishment during the weekends when students do not have access to school lunches.

Presented by SoFi, Bolt Academy is a collaborative partnership between the Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund, Inglewood Unified School District, and Brotherhood Crusade, a nonprofit building power in South L.A. for over 50 years, created to prepare students for careers. The group came together at SoFi Stadium to celebrate the young scholars from the Bolt Academy who successfully completed and graduated from the program.

The Chargers extended invitations to the Inglewood Chargers, Crenshaw Cougars, and Lynwood Jr. Knights from the Snoop Youth Football League to take part in NFL Network's Kickoff Eve coverage. The players had the opportunity to interact with the show's hosts and were featured in the entire live broadcast on NBC.

The Chargers launched their inaugural invitational to kick off the Opening Weekend of girls' flag football. This event marked a momentous occasion, serving as the first officially sanctioned girls' flag football games in the state of California. Fifteen teams from across Southern California gathered at the Chargers Training Camp Site, Jack Hammett Sports Complex, to participate in this historic event. The lineup featured eight teams from the Los Angeles area, five from Orange County, and two from San Diego, showcasing the growing popularity and inclusivity of girls' flag football. The event was co-hosted by San Juan Hills High School and sponsored by Oakley.

The Chargers Impact Fund celebrated the launch of its new program, Bolts Book Club, at the Boys and Girls Club Watts-Willowbrook Clubhouse. Chargers All-Pro Safety Derwin James Jr. and Cornerback Michael Davis joined the club members for a special reading session to encourage the students to read 20 minutes a day. In addition, the players participated and competed in a friendly competition using words learned through the digital platform, Rhymes with Reason, which teaches vocabulary through music.

The Chargers partnered with Girls Scouts of Orange County to host a flag football event at the Hoag Performance Center. Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors from troops in Orange and Los Angeles County took place in the three-hour camp where they learned flag football fundamentals and played scrimmage games. The participating athletes all received custom Chargers Girls Flag patches.

The Chargers in collaboration with the LA Bowl hosted a flag football Skills & Drills camp at SoFi Stadium, welcoming 185 local middle school and high school female athletes. This two-hour camp taught flag football fundamentals and served as a source of inspiration for the young girls from Inglewood and nearby communities.

The Chargers organized a flag football skills and drills camp exclusively for Girls, Inc. to support Mattel's Play it Forward Global Volunteer Week. Held at the Mattel Headquarters in El Segundo, the all-day event brought together 50 participants from Girls, Inc. and 250 from the Boys & Girls Club of Carson. All 300+ participants were surprised with a Chargers Little People set. The event was attended by several other Los Angeles professional teams, including the Lakers, Dodgers, LAFC, Kings, and Sparks.

The Chargers and Nike collaborated to bring forth the highly anticipated 11-ON event held at Hoag Performance Center. Over the course of two days, this event showcased the essence of teamwork, gathering 30 teams and over 750 athletes from across Southern California. The event proudly featured both girls' flag and tackle football teams, creating an inspiring celebration of high school football and its spirited community.

The Chargers hosted an NFL Flag Regional Tournament, sponsored by Oakley, with over 450 athletes aged 8-17 participating. The winning teams from each age group earned Oakley glasses and the opportunity to represent the Chargers at the 2024 NFL Flag Championships during the Pro Bowl Games.

The Chargers supported a girls' flag football camp at Kearny High School in San Diego. The event featured 70 youth athletes and was powered by NFL Flag San Diego. The camp showcased Corey Liuget's upcoming flag football league, NFL Air Attack, that will launch this summer. The all-girls league will kick off its first season on July 9th and will feature divisions from 2nd-11th grade.

The Chargers hosted a girl's flag football camp for the Corona-Norco School District at Centennial High School. The event had 75 girls participate from Centennial, Eleanor Roosevelt, Corona, Norco, Martin Luther King, and Santiago High Schools. In preparation for the upcoming girls flag football season, the Chargers have provided the Corona-Norco district with start-up equipment through USA Football.

The Chargers sponsored a flag football tournament that featured 56 participating boys' and girls' teams from ages 6-17. The tournament was run by Hard Count Athletics and championship teams from each of the twelve divisions were rewarded with a half bid to USA Football's "The One" Flag Championship.

The Chargers partnered with Surfrider Foundation – South Bay to host a large-scale cleanup at Dockweiler Beach. 100 volunteers from the Bolts Community Crew removed nearly 600 lbs. of trash in an effort to keep our beaches clean. The Chargers ran a skills and drills camp for nearly 200 student athletes at Madison High School to celebrate the inaugural start of San Diego Unified School District's middle school flag football season. Chargers legend Corey Liuget spoke to the SDUSD students prior to the start of the event. The Chargers partnered with SDUSD to provide their middle school flag teams with flag kits and customized jerseys. The league will see over 1,800 athletes participating from grades 6th-8th and will feature both boys' and girls' teams.

The Chargers and Ducommun visited University High School in Irvine to celebrate the winners of the 2022 STEM on the Sidelines competition. Chargers LS Josh Harris made an appearance at the award ceremony, where he shared his thoughts on the winning team and the combination of STEM and football. He signed autographs, took photos, and more with students from the high school.

To honor the beginning of Month of the Military Child, the Bolts hosted a special Jr. Chargers Training Camp session in partnership with Bob Hope USO. Featuring a surprise appearance from 2022 first round draft pick, Zion Johnson, participants of the camp attended from throughout Los Angeles, and all have parents who are active-duty military.

Nearly 70 attendees from local Athletic Training after school programs attended the first "Careers in Sports Medicine Symposium" hosted by the Chargers. Local high school students were invited to hear from the Chargers Team Doctor, Assistant Athletic Trainer and Assistant Team Nutritionist on their careers and journey into working in sport medicine. Sponsored by Gilead Sciences, Inc.

The Bolts Community Crew– powered by Pacific Premier Bank – partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank in Irvine for a special volunteer event to help combat food insecurity in Orange County. Volunteers were responsible for sorting nearly 30,000 lbs. of produce to be packed and shipped to the Food Bank's partnering organizations. Chargers players Joshua Palmer and Josh Harris, as well as Chargers Impact Fund Board Member and Chargers Legend Larry English, were on hand to celebrate the Impact Fund's donation and re-opening of renovated Play Yards at the East Valley Animal Shelter in Van Nuys. Joined by community dignitaries and representation from LA Animal Services, the group participated in a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, unveiling the newly-renovated Play Yards and auxiliary space to the public. Throughout the day, members of the Bolts Community Crew powered by Pacific Premier Bank volunteered at the shelter to make beds, blankets, and fill kongs for the dogs currently waiting for their fur-ever families at East Valley. The day concluded with the team joining up with Lazy Dog Restaurants to host an adoption event and covering the fees of the first 20 dogs adopted over the weekend.

The Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund celebrated the 2023 edition of Read Across America Day by hosting a group of 2nd graders from Santa Ana Unified School District. LS Josh Harris, WR Michael Bandy and team reporter Hayley Elwood joined to spend time with the kids and emphasize the joy of reading!!

The official Chargers Pup, Brisket, reached a major milestone in his journey to become a service animal and graduated from puppy training. For the next five to nine months, Brisket will go through a final round of professional training at a regional training center with nonprofit, Canine Companions, with the goal of officially becoming a service animal for a person with disabilities.

The Chargers partnered with the LA Legends professional women's team to host the 1st ever Girls Flag College Showcase in California. There were nearly 100 athletes from the Los Angeles area at Serra High School in Gardena. Seven NAIA universities were in attendance to recruit and offer scholarship opportunities to the local student-athletes.

The Los Angeles Chargers have partnered with Inglewood Unified School District to host a series of Play 60 youth football camps for 1,400 students in the area. NFL Play 60 is the league's national youth and wellness campaign that encourages kids to get physically active for at least 60 minutes a day.

The Chargers along with Costa Mesa United hosted the 63rd Annual Orange County All-Star Classic at Newport Harbor High School. The game is for high school seniors who were nominated by their schools and selected by the all-star coaching staffs. The South won for the eight straight year Saturday night, defeating the North 24-7. The teams were coached by Peter Lofthouse of Newport Harbor (South) and Rick Feldman of Cypress (North).

The 5th annual "STEM on the Sidelines" engineering challenge took place on Saturday, Dec 10th, at SoFi Stadium. STEM on the Sidelines is a collaboration between Ducommun, Inc., UC Irvine, and the Los Angeles Chargers. High school teams from Orange and LA counties designed, built, and coded their own custom football launchers to score maximum points. After an exciting and fierce competition, University High School in Irvine, CA rose above to claim 1st place.

Earlier this week, the Bolts continued an 18-year tradition of surprising local elementary school students with brand new bikes for the holidays! Chargers OLB Khalil Mack, DL Morgan Fox, WR DeAndre Carter, K Cameron Dicker, DL Otito Ogbonnia, LB Derek Tuszka, and LB Tyreek Maddox-Williams joined the Bikes for Kids Foundation and Pechanga Resort & Casino at Mayo Elementary school where they were greeted by over 150 deserving second and third graders. The bikes were built by Bolts Community Crew – powered by Pacific Premier Bank – volunteers the Saturday prior, and kept hidden from the students until the players revealed the news.

The 32nd Annual Alex Spanos All-Star Classic held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Mira Mesa High School in San Diego, CA.

The Chargers Impact Fund and Pepsi teamed up to sponsor the renovation of the dining hall at U.S. Vets – Long Beach. The renovation included a new coat of paint, new food pantry shelves, storage cabinets, tables, chairs and a reception desk. Chargers' Salute to Service Award nominee and DE, Morgan Fox, and OT, Austen Pleasants, joined for a special ribbon cutting ceremony for the re-opening of the dining hall.

Chargers Sebastian Joseph-Day partnered with the Midnight Mission to help prepare and serve meals to 2,500 homeless for Thanksgiving!

Following Friday's Chargers practice a group of TAPS families took a tour of the Hoag Performance Center, met the Bolts, and enjoyed a lunch on the patio as part of the team's Salute to Service week

Chargers long snapper Josh Harris visited Ethel M Evans Elementary School in Garden Grove to promote healthy eating habits and make a donation to help in building healthier communities!

Earlier this week, the Chargers Impact Fund teamed up with PetSpace for an animal welfare-themed First Downs for First Books event with students from Lincoln Elementary School. Joined by players Cameron Dicker, Derrek Tuszka, and Chargers Pup, Brisket, the students read to adoptable animals, participated in arts and crafts, learned about service animals, and took part in a puppy yoga class.

Chargers defensive lineman Morgan Fox hosted a group from the Wounded Warrior Project after Thursday's practice! During the visit Morgan was nominated as the the team's NFL Salute to Service Award candidate!
