The Chargers put in a 90-plus minute effort in full pads Sunday on Day 18 of Chargers 2026 Training Camp.
The Bolts will now practice Monday and Tuesday at 10 a.m. at The Bolt in advance of Thursday's preseason finale against the Rams.
Here is the Chargers Training Camp Report from Sunday's practice:
1. Khalil Mack wrecks practice
Khalil Mack had a dazzling interception in Saturday's practice, a sequence that Chargers Defensive Coordinator Chris O'Leary called "the best play of camp on defense."
Mack was back at it Sunday as he and the Chargers defense dominated the majority of practice at The Bolt.
Mack's stellar day began when he nearly had another interception on the second play of team drills but had to settle for a pass breakup.
He later showed up with tackles for loss on back-to-back run plays in a full-team drill, the first of which included a pop on Kimani Vidal that sent the running back to the ground.
"He loves football," O'Leary said of Mack. "He's going to come in and go 100 miles per hour [and] practice every single time he can.
Mack later had multiple pressures as the Bolts pass-rush group looked sharp against the offense.
Akheem Mesidor also produced a strong day as the rookie had a sack and multiple pressures, while Justin Eboigbe and Nadame Tucker (a sack apiece), TeRah Edwards (three pressures) and Tuli Tuipulotu, Teair Tart and Avery Smith (a pressure each) all flashed.
Cam Hart also notched a pair of pass breakups while Donte Jackson and Tarheeb Still had one apiece.
In the run game, Mesidor and Tart had noticeable run stops while Jamaree Caldwell and Marlowe Wax each had tackles for loss.
Offensively, the unit's best stretch came late in practice during a third-down period.
That's when Justin Herbert found Tre' Harris twice to move the sticks during a three-play span.
Herbert also connected with David Njoku, Charlie Kolar and Ladd McConkey for first downs.
Kolar, by the way, produced a highlight for the offense earlier in practice as he was wide open down the right sideline for a 40-plus yard touchdown.
But overall, the defense won the practice for the second straight day.
Safety Elijah Molden said after practice that the unit is "in a good spot" with Week 1 now just three weeks away.
"I think C.O brought his own flavor to the defense. Some new wrinkles, some new adjustments," Molden said. "All in all, the same system. This is going to our third year playing the same system, so guys are playing fast and playing hard."
2. Biadasz out for the season
The Chargers received tough news Sunday morning when Tyler Biadasz was placed on Injured Reserve.
The veteran center, a key free-agent acquisition, will now miss the entire 2026 season after he suffered a left ACL injury during Tuesday's joint practice with the 49ers.
Jake Slaughter has now taken over as the Chargers starting center and is a mainstay up front alongside Cole Strange (right guard) and Joe Alt (right tackle).
But there was some shuffling along the left side of the group as left tackle Rashawn Slater works his way fully back and as the Bolts decide on a starter at left guard.
Slater, as he did Saturday, went through individual drills and was in for the first full-team period Sunday before mostly watching the rest of practice. He did step in for a rep or two here and there.
When Slater went out, Trey Pipkins III and Travis Burke took reps at left tackle in front of Herbert.
Pipkins, meanwhile, was also up first at left guard, a spot also filled by Kayode Awosika.
The line in front of Trey Lance later included Burke and Laekin Vakalahi at left tackle, Trevor Penning at left guard, Jacob Spomer at center, Alex Harkey and Awosika at right guard and Logan Taylor at right tackle.
The unit in front of DJ Uiagalelei consisted of Vakalahi at left tackle, Logan Taylor at left guard, Josh Kaltenberger at center, Harkey at right guard and Burke at right tackle.
The offensive line also held 1-on-1 reps against the defense, with Slaughter, Burke, Harkey and Vakalahi each winning multiple reps.
Defensively, Mesidor won twice while Tucker also had a pair of wins.
3. Dicker perfect on the day
Cameron Dicker highlighted the special teams portion of Sunday's practice by nailing all six kicks he attempted.
Dicker began the day with a make from 33 yards out before gradually backing up for his final five kicks.
Dicker was then good from 36, 38, 41, 43 and 45 yards to cap off a perfect day.
Dicker is now 43 for 46 on field goals in camp during full-team drills.
