Bolts Make Trio of Transactions

The Los Angeles Chargers announced three player moves shortly before taking the field on Monday, signing tight end Mike Estes and wide receiver Cameron Posey while wavering/injured tight end Asante Cleveland.  The moves bring the team's roster to the 90-man limit.

Estes is a 6-4, 230-pound tight end who participated in the team's rookie mini camp. He appeared in 33 games over three years at Gardner-Webb, catching 103 passes for 1,252 yards and nine touchdowns over his collegiate career.

Posey is a 6-1, 185-pound wideout most recently with the Panthers.  The former Purdue Boilermaker signed in Carolina as an undrafted free agent this summer after catching 39 passes for 356 and three touchdowns as a senior.  He was waived by the Panthers last week.

Cleveland is a 6-5, 260-pound three-year veteran who appeared in four games for the Bolts in 2016.  Known primarily for his prowess as a blocker, he played in 10 games for the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots before the Chargers claimed in off waivers late in the 2015 campaign.
