Round 7, Pick 253 - WR Cornelius Johnson, Michigan

The Chargers are done with the 2024 NFL Draft after selecting Michigan wide receiver Cornelius Johnson in the seventh round (No. 253 overall) on Saturday.

Johnson, the Bolts ninth and final pick of the draft, is the second former Michigan player to join Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh in the NFL.

The Chargers also drafted Michigan linebacker Junior Colson in the third round. Harbaugh led Michigan to a national title this past season before joining the Bolts.

The selection of Johnson gives the Chargers even more depth at wide receiver, a group they took three players at in this draft.

The Bolts have Joshua Palmer, Quentin Johnston, Derius Davis and Simi Fehoko to go along with 2024 draft picks Ladd McConkey (second round) plus Brenden Rice and Johnson (both in seventh round).

The 23-year-old Johnson is listed at 6-foot-3 and 212 pounds.

Johnson was an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honoree in 2023 as he played in all 15 games with 14 starts. He tallied 47 catches for 604 yards and a touchdown.

Round 7, Pick 225 - WR Brenden Rice, USC

The Chargers selected USC wide receiver Brenden Rice in the seventh round (No. 225 overall) in the 2024 NFL Draft on Saturday.

Rice is the son of Hall of Famer Jerry Rice, who holds NFL all-time records in catches, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.

The selection of Rice gives the Chargers more depth in a wide receiver room that also includes Joshua Palmer, Quentin Johnston, Derius Davis, Simi Fehoko and Ladd McConkey.

The Bolts took McConkey in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

The 22-year-old Rice is listed at 6-foot-2 and 208 pounds.

Rice was a 2023 Second-Team All-Pac-12 honoree after leading the Trojans with 12 receiving touchdowns.

Rice tallied 84 career catches for 1,402 yards and 16 scores while at USC. He began his college career at Colorado.

Round 6, Pick 181 - RB Kimani Vidal, Troy

The Chargers selected Troy running back Kimani Vidal in the sixth round (No. 181 overall) in the 2024 NFL Draft on Saturday.

The selection of Vidal gives the Chargers more depth in a running back room that includes recent free-agent additions Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins, plus 2022 draft pick Isaiah Spiller.

The 22-year-old Vidal is listed at 5-foot-8 and 213 pounds.

A 2023 Third-Team All-American by The Associated Press, Vidal was also the 2023 Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year.

He rushed for 1,661 yards on 297 carries and racked up the second-most rushing yards in the country. He also topped the 100-yard mark seven times and rushed for 200-plus yards three times in 2023. Vidal added 14 rushing touchdowns, too.

Vidal played in 48 career games at Troy, rushing for 4,010 yards and 33 total touchdowns.

Round 5, Pick 140 - DB Cam Hart, Notre Dame

The Chargers selected Notre Dame defensive back Cam Hart in the fifth round (No. 140 overall) in the 2024 NFL Draft on Saturday morning.

It was the Bolts second pick of the fifth round after they took Maryland defensive back Tarheeb Still at No. 137 overall.

The selection of Hart gives the Chargers more even more secondary depth after the addition of Still.

The 23-year-old Hart is listed at 6-foot-3 and 202 pounds.

A 2023 team captain for Notre Dame, Hart tallied 21 tackles (15 solo) to go along with 3.0 tackles for loss, four pass breakups, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

He did not allow a touchdown reception in 308 coverage snaps in 2023, according to Pro Football Focus.

Hart will reunite with tackle Joe Alt, who was the Chargers first-round pick at No. 5 overall.

Round 5, Pick 137 - DB Tarheeb Still, Maryland

The Chargers selected Maryland defensive back Tarheeb Still in the fifth round (No. 137 overall) in the 2024 NFL Draft on Saturday morning.

The selection of Still gives the Chargers more depth to a cornerback group that features Asante Samuel, Jr., Kristian Fulton, Ja'Sir Taylor and others.

The 21-year-old Still is listed at 6-foot and 189 pounds.

Still was a 2023 Second-Team All-Big Ten selection and tied for fifth in the FBS with five interceptions.

Still played in 39 career games for Maryland, recording 165 total tackles (124 solo) to go along with six interceptions, 28 passes defensed and nine tackles for loss.

Round 4, Pick 105 - DL Justin Eboigbe, Alabama

The Chargers selected Alabama defensive lineman Justin Eboigbe in the fourth round (No. 105 overall) in the 2024 NFL Draft on Saturday morning.

The selection of Eboigbe gives the Chargers more depth to a defensive line room that includes Morgan Fox, Poona Ford, Otito Ogbonnia and Scott Matlock among others.

The 23-year-old Eboigbe is listed at 6-foot-4 and 297 pounds.

Eboigbe was a 2023 First-Team All-SEC selection after tallying 63 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and 7.0 sacks in 14 games.

Round 3, Pick 69 - LB Junior Colson, Michigan

The Chargers selected Michigan linebacker Junior Colson in the third round (No. 69 overall pick) in the 2024 NFL Draft on Friday night.

Colson played for Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh in college and helped the Wolverines win a national championship this past season.

Dane Brugler of The Athletic tabbed Colson as his No. 42 overall prospect and was his No. 1 linebacker.
