Ha concluido el segundo día del campamento de entrenamiento de los Chargers de 2026.
Los Bolts llevaron a cabo su segunda sesión de entrenamiento del campamento, con una duración de casi 90 minutos y sin protecciones, en las instalaciones de The Bolt.
Los Chargers entrenarán durante los próximos dos días — también sin protecciones — antes de tener un día de descanso el domingo.

1. Justin Herbert lanza en profundidad
Justin Herbert se lució este jueves.
El mariscal de campo de los Bolts comenzó con fuerza desde su primer lanzamiento en los ejercicios de equipo y mantuvo ese nivel durante toda la práctica.
Herbert estuvo imparable desde el inicio, conectando con el corredor Keaton Mitchell por la banda izquierda para una jugada explosiva durante un ejercicio de 7 contra 7.
Por cierto, Mitchell se vio muy fluido hacia el final del entrenamiento cuando protagonizó una carrera considerable hacia la derecha, facilitada por un bloqueo clave de Oronde Gadsden.
Herbert tampoco había terminado aún, ya que más tarde completó tres lanzamientos impresionantes de forma consecutiva durante los ejercicios de equipo completo.
El primero fue dirigido al receptor abierto Quentin Johnston mediante un pase profundo por el centro que recorrió unas 25 yardas. El pase de Herbert llegó justo al punto donde solo Johnston podía atraparlo, a pesar de estar marcado por dos defensores.

2. Mas rotaciones de línea ofensiva
Todas las miradas han estado — y seguirán estando — puestas en la línea ofensiva de los Chargers durante el campamento.
Y aunque el equipamiento completo de contacto no se utilizará hasta la próxima semana en San Diego, los Chargers buscan claramente definir quién será su guardia izquierdo titular.
El miércoles, Kayode Awosika y Jake Slaughter se alternaron en esa posición protegiendo a Herbert.
Sin embargo, en el entrenamiento del jueves, Awosika y Trevor Penning compartieron repeticiones en ese puesto, mientras que Slaughter trabajó como guardia izquierdo con el grupo de reservas.
Un detalle destacable: los tres linieros coincidieron en el campo en un momento dado, cuando Awosika (guardia izquierdo), Slaughter (centro) y Penning (guardia derecho) realizaron labores de bloqueo protegiendo a Trey Lance.
El resto de la alineación principal de la línea ofensiva de los Chargers se mantuvo sin cambios, a excepción de Branson Taylor, quien relevó a Rashawn Slater durante algunas repeticiones en la posición de tacle izquierdo.
Slater, seleccionado dos veces para el Pro Bowl, regresa tras sufrir un desgarro en el tendón rotuliano el 3 de agosto del año pasado, una lesión que lo mantuvo fuera de juego durante toda la temporada 2025.
