MaddenRookieRatings

The 2025 NFL season is approaching rapidly — and so is the newest installment of the Madden 2026 NFL video game.

Ahead of its release date in mid-August, EA Sports has began releasing individual ratings each day this week, and Thursday's drop included the specialists and the highes- ranking Charger yet.

Long snapper Josh Harris tied the highest ranking in the inaugural top 10 for the position with an 81, while punter JK Scott was the sixth-highest ranked at his position with an 80. Kicker Cameron Dicker rounded it out with a 79 overall.

Meanwhile, safety Derwin James, Jr., topped the strong safety rankings with a 93 overall, the highest from a Charger so far.

Justin Herbert landed an 86 rating, which is tied for seventh among all quarterbacks.

Rookies

Wednesday's ratings drop included a first glimpse at the rookie draft classes for each team.

For the Bolts, of course that included being led by first-round pick Omarion Hampton, who was the second-highest ranked running back among all rookies with a 77 overall. Chargers second-round pick Tre' Harris was next with a 72 overall rating.
