Quentin Johnston keeps getting better and better.
The Chargers wide receiver made a pair of splash plays in the first half Sunday to help the Bolts get out to a 10-7 halftime lead.
First, Johnston turned a routine 6-yard gain into a big play when be broke away from the Denver defense for a 37-yard gain to put the Bolts in the red zone.
That led to the Chargers first points of the game on a 32-yard field goal from Cameron Dicker.
But Johnston wasn't done in the first half as he then made a wild leaping catch while Broncos star cornerback Patrick Surtain II was called for defensive pass interference on the same play.
Johnston's acrobatic catch put the ball at the 2-yard line before Omarion Hampton scored his first NFL touchdown to give the Bolts a double-digit lead.
Johnston might not have scored a touchdown yet Sunday, but he's been a big reason for all of the Chargers points at halftime.
