Los Angeles Chargers vs. Washington Commanders: How to Watch, Listen & Live Stream

Week5Commanders

The Los Angeles Chargers return home for a big showdown against another NFC East opponent in the Washington Commanders in Week 5 at SoFi Stadium.

MATCHUP HISTORY

Sunday's matchup will mark the 13th regular-season matchup between the two teams. The Commanders hold an all-time record of 7-5 against the Bolts. However, the Chargers have won five of the last six meetings between the two. It will be the first time the Bolts host the Commanders at SoFi Stadium.

The last meeting between these two teams came last season in Week 1 of the 2021 season in Washington.

Even in the midst of this defensive battle, Justin Herbert had himself a day throwing for 337 yards and a touchdown. The Chargers quarterback threw the go-ahead touchdown with over 11 minutes remaining in regulation and after getting the ball back with 6:43 remaining, he executed a surgical final drive, that included four third down conversions, to drain all time left in the game.
