The Los Angeles Chargers (11-5) close the season on the road against an AFC West opponent in the Denver Broncos (13-3) at Empower Field at Mile High.
MATCHUP HISTORY
Sunday's matchup will mark the 132nd regular-season matchup between the two teams. The Broncos hold an all-time record of 72-58-1, but the Chargers have won the last three meetings. The games have been hard fought as of late, as the last four meetings have been decided by one possession.
The last meeting between these two teams came early in the season in Week 3, a thrilling game with some late-game heroics by Justin Herbert.
Trailing by seven in the second half, Herbert executed two late scoring drive that gave the Bolts a walk-off victory of the Broncos. The highlight of the day came with 2:37 left in the game as the quarterback unleashed an off-platform pass â while being pressured â to put it in a spot where only Keenan Allen could get it to help the Chargers tie the game with just under three minutes left to play.
