The Los Angeles Chargers today signed tackle David Sharpe. In a corresponding move, the team placed tackle Rashawn Slater on Reserve/Injured.

Sharpe brings veteran experience to the Bolts, having played in 46 career games (six starts) with the Raiders, Houston, Washington, Baltimore and Carolina. He came into the NFL as a fourth-round pick by the Oakland Raiders (129th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft out of the University of Florida. With the Gators, Sharpe played 33 games, including making 26 starts at left tackle. He helped Florida to winning seasons in each of his three years in Gainesville, Fla., including two appearances in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game.
