The Los Angeles Chargers today signed wide receiver Dalevon Campbell. In a corresponding move, the team waived center/guard Bucky Williams.
Campbell capped his collegiate career at South Carolina in 2024 after having spent a pair of years at Nevada (2022-23) and three seasons at Illinois (2019-21), redshirting for the Illini in 2019. In 60 career games, he made 21 starts and totaled 88 catches for 1,471 yards (16.7 avg.) and three touchdowns. Campbell earned honorable mention All-Mountain West recognition in 2023 after hauling in 31 passes for 594 yards (19.2 avg.) and a pair of touchdowns. With the Gamecocks last season, he led the team with a 26.0-yard receiving average.
