The National Football League today announced the Los Angeles Chargers will be represented by quarterback Justin Herbert, safety Derwin James Jr., outside linebacker Tuli Tuipulotu, tackle Joe Alt and kicker Cameron Dicker at the 2026 Pro Bowl Games in San Francisco.
Dicker, the most accurate kicker in NFL history and the team's Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Club Winner, was named the AFC starter in his first career Pro Bowl selection. Additionally, four more Chargers were named alternates for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games: Outside linebacker Khalil Mack, linebacker Del'Shawn Phillips as a special teamer, cornerback Donte Jackson and fullback/defensive lineman Scott Matlock as a fullback.
Herbert earns the second Pro Bowl recognition of his career after becoming the third player in NFL history to begin a career with six consecutive seasons with at least 3,000 passing yards and 20 passing touchdowns. He ranks among the top five passers in the AFC in 2025 in completions (319), passing yards (3,491) and passing touchdowns (25), with his eight passing scores on third down pacing the conference. Herbert has led the Bolts to three come-from-behind victories this season, bringing him to 15 for his career, which ranks third in the NFL since 2020. He continued his record-setting ways in 2025, recording the most completions by any player within the first six years of a career and the most before turning 28 years old (2,264).
Now a five-time Pro Bowler, James ranks second on the team with 86 (46 solo) this season, adding a pair of sacks, six tackles for loss and two interceptions, along with six pass breakups and a forced fumble. The heart and soul of the Los Angeles defense continues his dominance and leadership in 2025, as he is the only defensive back in the NFL this season to register at least 80 tackles and five tackles for loss along with multiple sacks and multiple interceptions. James was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for a performance in Week 3 that saw him total 12 tackles (10 solo), a sack and a career-high four tackles for loss.
Tuipulotu has been named an all-star for the first time in his career, leading the Chargers and ranking tied for No. 3 in the NFL with a career-best 13.0 sacks on the season. The third-year pass rusher also has set a career high with a team-leading 20 tackles for loss in 2025, also tying for third in the NFL. Tuipulotu's first sacks came in Week 4, when he posted 4.0 sacks to tie for the third-most in a single game in Chargers history. Each of his 13.0 sacks have come in the last 13 weeks (Weeks 4-16), ranking No. 2 in the NFL over that span.
A first-time Pro Bowler, Alt earns all-star recognition after making a successful transition from right tackle to left tackle in training camp and maintaining his dominant standards, showcasing his ability as an offensive weapon for the Bolts. In his six starts in 2025, the Bolts posted a 5-1 record and eclipsed 100 rushing yards in four of those contests. Alt was flagged for just one penalty before suffering a season-ending injury in November.
Dicker earns his first all-star selection as he leads all AFC kickers in 2025 with 36 made field goals and 141 points scored, while also leading the NFL in with a 94.7 field goal percentage on the year (min. 30 att.). He has maintained his standing as the most accurate kicker in NFL history, making 94.1 percent of his career field goal attempts (127-of-135). Dicker, a two-time AFC Special Teams Player of the Week winner in 2025, enters Week 17 needing just four field goals and 10 points scored to set single-season franchise records. He is one of seven players in NFL history to have a three-year streak with at least 30 made field goals and is just the fourth player ever to have back-to-back seasons with at least 35 made field goals.
Roster selections are determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each individual group's vote counts one-third toward determining the 88 all-star players. The NFL is the only sports league that combines voting by fans, coaches and players to determine its all-star teams.
