The Los Angeles Chargers today agreed to terms with six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Keenan Allen.

The most productive wide receiver in franchise history, Allen holds franchise records in receptions (904) and receiving yards (10,530) among wide receivers. He has been named to six Pro Bowls, tied for the second-most all-star selections by a Chargers draft pick in team history, trailing only the 12 selections for Hall of Fame linebacker Junior Seau while with the Bolts. Allen has played in 144 games and made 138 starts for the Chargers, including the postseason, recording 59 touchdown grabs in the regular season and three in the playoffs.

In a record-setting season with the Chargers in 2023, Allen hauled in a single-season franchise-record 108 catches. In the process, he eclipsed 900 career receptions faster than any player in NFL history, doing so in his 139th career game. Among several notable performances, Allen recorded the first game in NFL history with at least 15 receptions, 100 receiving yards and a passing touchdown, totaling a single-game franchise-record 18 catches for 215 yards and throwing a touchdown in the team's 2023 win at Minnesota in Week 3.

Allen has started 149-of-154 career regular season games in his 12-year career, spending the first 11 with the Chargers before suiting up for the Chicago Bears in 2024. His 974 career receptions rank No. 3 among active NFL players, while adding 11,274 receiving yards (11.6 avg.) and 66 touchdowns. Allen topped 60 catches and four touchdowns in each of the last eight seasons, good for the third-longest active streak in the NFL. In five career postseason games, Allen has made four starts and hauled in 20 passes for 336 yards (16.8 avg.) and three scores.

The former California Golden Bear was the consensus Comeback Player of the Year in 2017 when he set numerous team and NFL records. That season, Allen became the first player in NFL history to record three-straight games with at least 10 receptions, 100 receiving yards and a touchdown catch. He added an interception in 2017 to become just the third player in history to have 1,000 receiving yards and a pick in the same year, joining Hall of Fame wide receivers Don Hutson (1942) and Randy Moss (2009).

Allen burst onto the scene as a third-round pick by the Chargers in 2013, earning consensus Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. Allen posted a 142-yard, two-touchdown performance in the AFC Divisional Playoffs as a rookie, tying for the second-most receiving yards by a rookie in NFL postseason history at the time.
