Jefferson returns to Los Angeles after playing for the Bolts the last two seasons, having appeared in 23 games and making 14 starts in that span, including the postseason. He joined the team following a return from retirement, signing with the Chargers in 2024, recording 84 tackles (54 solo), four interceptions, seven pass breakups and two tackles for loss since then. Last season, he continued to showcase his high-impact ability, ranking tied for third in the AFC and setting a career high with four interceptions. Jefferson's final pick of the year sealed a comeback win in overtime during Week 14 against Philadelphia on Monday Night Football.
Over the course of his career, Jefferson has been a productive defender, starting 79-of-134 career regular-season contests with the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, New York Giants and Los Angeles Chargers.
