The Los Angeles Chargers hit the road for the first time in December as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs in a big Week 16 divisional clash at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
MATCHUP HISTORY
This matchup will mark the 131st regular-season matchup between the two teams. The Chiefs hold an 71-58-1 all-time regular season record against the Bolts, however, they have split the last two games.
The last meeting between these two teams came in the regular season opener in São Paulo, Brazil.
This international AFC West battle lived up to the billing as the Chargers left Brazil with a big win in Week 1. Leading the entire game, Justin Herbert got off to his hot start with 318 yards passing and three touchdowns, two of which went to Quentin Johnston. With the game in the balance late and facing third-and 14, Herbert scrambled out of the pocket and ran for 19 yards, putting an exclamation point on the win with a slide to seal it.
