QUOTEBOOK

Ohio State DE Joey Bosa

On if he can play in a 3-4 scheme…

"I can see myself playing anywhere on the defensive line. I've been working standing up and working on my linebacker drops, so I definitely feel I'm ready to play in a 3-4 or a 4-3."

On what he brings to the table…

"I think I bring the best pass rusher, the best defensive lineman in the country. I'm obviously coming to the team that drafts me to help them win and help them eventually make it to the Super Bowl."

On who he models his game after…

"I like watching Tamba Hali. He's one of coach Johnson's guys, so when I watch him I pretty much see the prototype coach Johnson, exactly what he coaches. So he's fun to watch."

Oregon DE DeForest Buckner…

On having the biggest hands in history of Combine…

"Growing up, I always knew I had kind of big hands. My siblings used to make fun of me. Coming here, I kind of knew I'd measure at a pretty big size. I was kind of shooting for that 12 (inches).

On what sets him apart from other defensive linemen…

"I think this season I really had a lot of success on the inside. I think it's because I'm pretty quick on offensive guards and it really gives me the advantage to really set me apart from other defensive linemen here."

On what system fits him best…

"I feel like I can play in any system, whether it's a 4-3 or 3-4. I feel like I can play in any type of system because I've played all types of techniques before."

Ole Miss DT Robert Nkemdiche

On answering character concerns…

"I tell them the truth. It was a rash decision by me. Uncharacteristic. That's not who I am. That's not what I stand for. That's not what my family stands for. It was embarrassing for me and my whole family, the Ole Miss family. I tell them that's not the kind of player they're getting. They're getting a straight-forward player. I'm never going to return to that. I'm just moving forward and embracing this moment."

On what sets him apart…

"My skill set, my explosiveness, my football IQ. My growth as a player, my commitment to the team and wanting to keep getting better as a player."

On the difference between his talent and production on field…

"There are times I didn't finish. I was lazy on some plays at times, but I told them I'm going to keep growing as a player. I'm going to keep learning how to finish and keep becoming more of a student of the game and just focus on being the best NFL player I can be."
