CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

  • Named AFC Defensive Player of the Week and was voted as the Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week for his efforts in a Week 7 overtime win against the Falcons in 2016. He registered seven tackles (six solo), two tackles for loss and an interception that set up a late fourth quarter game-tying field goal while adding a tackle for loss in overtime on fourth-and-one to give the ball to the offense on the Atlanta 43-yard line.* Appeared in seven games with six starts last season, totaling 51 tackles (29 solo), two tackles for loss, two passes defensed and a fumble recovery after missing the first half of the season on injured reserve with a foot injury.
  • Led the team in 2016 with 80 tackles (54 solo), two sacks, the first interception of his career and a forced fumble, setting a career high with 11 starts.
  • Was just five tackles shy of being the first Chargers rookie with a 100-tackle season in 2015, finishing second on the team with 95 tackles (72 solo) while adding a pair of sacks, nine tackles for loss and a forced fumble.
