Staff Sergeant William Means joined the Marine Corps in 2001. During his 13 years of service to the United States Marine Corps, Staff Sergeant Means has deployed 6 times, missing the births of two of his five children.
He deployed 3 times to Iraq in his first enlistment during the Operation Iraqi Freedom campaign. He then deployed twice to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom.
His most recent deployment took him to Kuwait as part of a Special MAGTAF. Staff Sergeant Means is currently stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California and is on active duty. H
