The Chargers are about to be on a break.

Here's what you need to know about the Bolts ahead of a Week 12 bye.

1. What happened in Week 11?

The Chargers were soundly defeated on the road as they suffered a 35-6 loss to the Jaguars.

Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh and Derwin James, Jr. each gave a direct and blunt postgame answer when asked what went wrong in Jacksonville.

"We got beat every which way you could possibly be beat," Harbaugh said. "We'll fly back to L.A. and get together and figure out what we're going to do about it.

"Every possible phase of the game, including strategy, we got beat in every possible way," Harbaugh added.

James added: "We've got to show up ready to play every week. Anybody can humble you and today the Jags humbled us."

Overall, the Chargers were outgained 345 to 132 in total yards and also lost the third-down battle. The Bolts converted just three of 12 tries on third downs while the Jaguars were 5-of-10 in that area.

2. What is the Chargers record?

The Chargers are now 7-4 after their three-game win streak came to an end.

The Bolts still sit in second place in the AFC West behind the Broncos, who are 9-2 after beating the Chiefs on Sunday.

Kansas City is at .500 entering Week 12 while the Raiders are 2-7 ahead of their Monday night matchup with the Cowboys.

Even with Sunday's loss, the Chargers are still 6-2 against AFC opponents, which is tied for the second-best mark in the conference.

3. Who stood out in the win?

Sunday's result was a rough one for the Bolts in all phases, so it was appropriate that Elijah Molden said it was a "team loss."

Defensively, Donte Jackson provided one of the few highlights with a second-quarter interception. The cornerback tallied the Chargers top Pro Football Focus defense grade at 80.2.

Jamaree Salyer posted a 75.1 PFF offensive grade to lead that side of the ball. Salyer did not start Sunday but played 21 snaps at right guard as Mekhi Becton bounced in and out of the lineup.

4. What are the Chargers playoff odds?

The Chargers dropped into the No. 6 seed as the AFC's second Wild Card team after Sunday's loss.

And the Bolts surely have some work to do in the final six games of the season.

According to The Athletic, the Chargers playoffs odds are current at 64 percent. That same model also had the Bolts with a 15-percent chance to win the AFC West.

NFL Next Gen Stats, meanwhile, has the Bolts at 60 percent to make the postseason.

5. Who is the Week 12 opponent?

Nobody.

The Chargers are on a bye in Week 12 as they get ready for the stretch run of the 2025 season.

After the bye, the Bolts will host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 13. Kickoff from SoFi Stadium is at 1:25 p.m. (PT).
