The Chargers are getting hot.

Here's what you need to know about the Bolts ahead of Week 15.

1. What happened in Week 14?

The Bolts won a 22-19 overtime thriller Monday night against the Eagles, outlasting Philadelphia in a wild game that featured eight total turnovers.

Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh described the win as only he could, noting it was one of the best of his career.

"There have been a lot of teams, and this is definitely maybe the best feeling," Harbaugh said. "Just a wonderful, wonderful feeling of winning and thrill of victory. It's certainly in the discussion – I'd put it in the discussion of the birth of my seven children, my marriage, you know? In the conversation."

The Chargers led going into the fourth quarter and withstood a late Eagles rally to send the game to overtime.

The Bolts then came up clutch as Cameron Dicker drilled a 54-yard field goal in the extra frame before Tony Jefferson secured a last-minute interception to seal the win.

Justin Herbert was key, too, with a "superhero" effort despite playing with a broken left hand.

The Chargers quarterback endured pressure all night but ran for a team-high 66 yards to will the Bolts to a critical win.

2. What is the Chargers record?

The Chargers sit at 9-4 and are firmly in playoff contention with four games left.

The Bolts, who have won five of their past six games, sit at second place in the AFC West and are one of two teams in the division with a winning record.

Monday night's win also made sure the Chargers still have a chance to catch the 11-2 Broncos, who lead the division and have won 10 straight games.

Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Chiefs (6-7) and Raiders (2-11) are both below .500.

3. Who stood out in the win?

In terms of Pro Football Focus grades, cornerback Donte Jackson earned the Chargers top overall mark at 91.6. Jackson notched an interception Monday and is now tied for the team lead with four picks.

Offensively, left tackle Jamaree Salyer posted a 76.2 grade to lead that side of the ball while Cameron Dicker's 89.0 special teams grade was critical.

Dicker hit all five of his field goal attempts, and also added an extra point, to give him 16 total points on the night.

But Herbert was the star Monday, even if it wasn't the best statistical game of his career (139 passing yards with a touchdown, and interception and a lost fumble).

According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Herbert was pressured on 68.3 percent of his dropbacks, the sixth-highest percentage in a game over the last 10 seasons among quarterbacks with at least 20 dropbacks.

All of this after surgery on his hand seven days before kickoff on Monday.

"Knowing a guy like Justin Herbert will go out there seven days after surgery and play," Khalil Mack said. "It's like, 'Who else in the league is doing that?'"

Cam Hart added: "He's a dog. A beast. The best I've ever seen. I have immense respect for Justin."

4. What are the Chargers playoff odds?

The Chargers are currently in a playoff spot as the No. 5 seed and first Wild Card team in the AFC playoff picture.

The Bolts entered Week 14 as the fifth seed and will stay there headed into Week 15.

The first two Wild Card teams — Chargers and Bills — each sit at 9-4, but the Chargers are the fifth seed because of better conference record (7-2 vs. Buffalo's 6-3 mark).

The Texans and Colts are both 8-5 but Houston is the No. 7 seed because of a head-to-head win.

According to The Athletic, the Chargers have a 79 percent chance to make the playoffs. ESPN also has the Bolts with a 79 percent chance to make the dance while NFL Next Gen Stats has those odds at 76 percent.

Things don't get any easier for the Bolts going forward as they play the Chiefs, Cowboys, Texans and Broncos in their final four games.

5. Who is the Week 15 opponent?

The Chargers are on the road in Week 15 as they play the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kickoff from Kansas City is at 10 a.m. (PT).

The Chiefs currently sit at 6-7 and are in third place in the AFC West.
