The Bolts are 4-2 after a 29-27 comeback win in Miami on Sunday.

Here are five things to know about the Chargers ahead of Week 7.

1. What happened in Week 6?

The Chargers-Dolphins game seemingly had it all as the teams delivered a back-and-forth affair that saw six lead different lead changes on a muggy Florida afternoon.

But it was the Bolts who came up clutch late as Justin Herbert orchestrated a game-winning drive in the final minute that culminated with a 33-yard field goal from Cameron Dicker.

Herbert made the play of the game — and perhaps his career — when he shook off a sack and fit Ladd McConkey for what turned out to be a 42-yard gain with less than 30 seconds to play.

"That play will be burned in my mind until they throw dirt over top of me," Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh said.

Herbert and McConkey's heroics came after a wild game that saw the Chargers surge ahead by double digits heading into the fourth quarter, only to watch Miami respond and take a late lead with back-to-back touchdowns.

But the Bolts prevailed despite being plenty shorthanded as Joe Alt, Quentin Johnston, Trey Pipkins III and Jamaree Salyer were among those out in Week 6.

And that doesn't include others such as Khalil Mack, Omarion Hampton, Denzel Perryman and Da'Shawn Hand who are currently Injured Reserve.

It was simply a gritty win for the Chargers.

"We talk about next man up all the time," Harbaugh added. "I get fired up for the next man up because it's not just another game for them, it's the game."

2. What is the Chargers record?

The Chargers are now 4-2 after they snapped a two-game losing streak with Sunday's win.

The Bolts had been reeling a bit after a 3-0 start but managed to get back on track with a much-needed victory in Week 6.

Entering Week 7, the Chargers remain in first place in the AFC West despite Denver also holding a 4-2 record. The Chargers, of course, have the tiebreaker due to their Week 3 home win over the Broncos.

The Chiefs are right behind the Chargers, too, at 3-3 as Kansas City has won three of its past four games. The Raiders also won Sunday to improve to 2-4 as every AFC West team won on Sunday.

While the Bolts sit at 3-0 in division play, they are also 4-0 in conference play, which will be a massive factor in determining potential playoff tiebreakers down the road.

3. Who stood out in the win?

Herbert, of course, as he threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns with a passer rating of 112.2.

And running back Kimani Vidal had a career day with 138 total yards, including 124 on the ground, to go along with a receiving touchdown.

But it was actually McConkey who tallied the Chargers highest overall Pro Football Focus grade on offense with a mark of 79.3

McConkey, who had seven catches for 100 yards and a touchdown, hit the century mark for the first time this season and has now scored touchdowns in back-to-back games.

Defensively, cornerback Benjamin St-Juste had the team's highest defensive PFF grade at 82.3.

St-Juste recorded his first interception of the season on Sunday, one of three picks by the Bolts defense. Tony Jefferson had one on Miami's second offensive play while Derwin James, Jr.'s pick was on the Dolphins final offensive play of the game.

Odafe Oweh and Tuli Tuipulotu each had sacks on defense.

4. What are the Chargers playoff chances?

We're approaching Week 7, which means the midpoint of the 2025 season is on the horizon.

That also means it's time to take an early peek at the Chargers 2025 playoff chances.

As it stands now, the Chargers would be the No. 4 seed in the AFC and would host fifth-seeded Jacksonville.

According to NFL Next Gen Stats, the Chargers have a 74 percent chance to make the playoffs, which is the highest mark in the AFC West.

The Broncos sit at 72 percent while the Chiefs are at 58 percent. If we know one thing, the division is going to be a dogfight the rest of the way.

5. Who do the Chargers play in Week 7?

The Bolts have a major challenge on hand Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Kickoff is at 1:05 p.m. (PT) from SoFi Stadium.

The Colts currently boast a 5-1 record that is the best in the AFC and is tied for the best record in the NFL with Tampa Bay.

Indianapolis has wins over Miami, Denver, Tennessee, Las Vegas and Arizona to start the season.

The Colts are led by running back Jonathan Taylor, who leads the NFL with 115 attempts, 603 yards and seven rushing touchdowns.

Quarterback Daniel Jones has thrown for 1,508 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions so far this season.
