Josh Harris and Deane Leonard are back in powder blue.
The Chargers on Wednesday announced they have agreed to terms with both players, a pair of moves that give the Bolts special teams unit a big boost heading into 2026.
Harris' return means that he's ready for Year 15 in the NFL and remains the Chargers elder statesman as he'll turn 37 next month.
But the long snapper is also one of the most respected players in the locker room and is trusted heavily by both Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh and Chargers Special Teams Coordinator Ryan Ficken.
"He's a tremendous example for all of us," Harbaugh said in 2024. "He's a coach on the field … one of our rock-solid guys in every area."
It's no secret that Harris was Ficken's first priority in free agent when he arrived in 2022, and the long snapper has since helped revitalize the Bolts in that phase.
Cameron Dicker's current title as the NFL's most accurate kicker? Harris has certainly played a role in helping Dicker develop on and off the field.
Remember that Harris missed the first half of the 2025 season with a freak injury he suffered in the Chargers preseason finale.
During the long snapper's absence, the Chargers posted the league's worst special teams Pro Football Focus grade. But in the second half of the season once Harris returned, the Bolts were seventh overall with a 90.2 grade.
So, yeah, Harris' impact is felt on the field, in meeting rooms and in the locker room. And his return is a win for Ficken and his staff heading into the 2026 season.

Leonard, meanwhile, has turned into a success story with the Chargers after being a seventh-round pick in 2022.
The 26-year-old has developed into one of the league's more consistent gunners under Ficken and assistant special teams coach Chris Gould, both of whom also arrived in 2022.
The Bolts have rotated through a handful of gunners in that time, but Leonard has been a mainstay there in recent years. He's also made some clutch plays, too, including a fumble recovery in overtime that set up a home win against the Broncos in 2023.
Defensively, Leonard has steadily progressed and improved as a cornerback and should continue to do the same going forward under Chargers Defensive Coordinator Chris O'Leary and defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale.
Remember it was Leonard who snagged a flashy sideline interception against the Texans two seasons ago in the playoffs.
The Chargers will likely roll with Donte Jackson, Tarheeb Still and Cam Hart as their main cornerbacks in 2026, with Derwin James set to resume his role as a hybrid monster in the slot, too.
Leonard's return means quality cornerback depth and consistency on special teams, two areas the Chargers will surely need if they want to make some noise in 2026.
This might not be a headline-grabbing move from Chargers General Manager Joe Hortiz, but it's certainly a smart one.
