Sergeant Porsche Davis is originally from Wichita, KS. She enlisted as Airman First Class in Security Forces October 2011. Her first assignment was Osan AB, South Korea, as an Entry Controller. She safeguarded protection level 1-4 assets in direct support to the 51st Fighter Wing. Following her deployment, Airman Davis was assigned Aviano AB, Italy, as a Security Response Team Leader. She implemented nuclear weapons security and was promoted to Senior Airman. She established herself as Large Vehicle Inspection Station Clerk and Assistant Non-Commissioned Officer in charge. Her diligence warranted Staff Sergeant promotion, and she was hired to Visitor Control Center Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge.

Sergeant Davis conducted joint administrative duties alongside the Italian Air Force. Her multinational team monitored Instillation Access Control Systems, improved entry control procedures, and enhanced base security. In April 2016, Sergeant Davis was assigned to the 369th Recruiting Squadron, as an Enlisted Accessions Recruiter, in Valencia, CA. She establishes effective Air Force advertising and public relations within a 680 square mile area of responsibility.

Her passion is providing training and mentoring Delayed Entry Program members awaiting Basic Military.

The Military Hero of the Week presented by California Resources Corporation was created to acknowledge the heroic efforts and sacrifices made by our U.S. service members, veterans and their families. Each week of the Regular Season the Los Angeles Chargers will honor a Military Hero.
