The Chargers are 2-0 after a gritty 20-9 win over the Raiders in primetime.
Here's a game recap from Week 2.
Turning Point
Both teams went back and forth in the opening quarter before the Chargers led 10-6, with just over four minutes left in the second quarter.
The Bolts promptly got to work and put together a 91-yard touchdown drive that spanned just five plays and 2 minutes and 43 seconds off the clock.
Omarion Hampton sparked the sequence with a 15-yard run on third-and-1 that moved the chains and kept the drive alive.
Justin Herbert then hit Will Dissly for seven yards before the clock reached the 2-minute warning.
The Bolts drew up a perfect play during the break as Herbert hit Quentin Johnston on a 60-yard touchdown right away for a highlight-reel score.
Up 17-6, the Chargers thwarted any chance the Raiders had to grab momentum as Tony Jefferson intercepted Geno Smith at the 1-yard line after the Raiders quarterback tried to respond with a deep touchdown pass of his own.
The Bolts took the ball and ran out the first-half clock before they received the second half kickoff and added to their lead.
The Chargers only came away with three points on their opening drive of the second half after the Bolts initially had first-and-goal at the 5-yard line but had to settle for a field goal.
But the drive took up exactly half of the third quarter as the Chargers drained valuable clock while improving to a 20-6 lead over the Raiders.
Las Vegas then put together an 11-plus minute drive on its ensuing drive but it only ended in three points.
The Chargers later intercepted Geno Smith for the third time as the Chargers won the turnover battle 3-0 on the road.
Top Play
All Johnston does these days is score touchdowns.
After a two-touchdown performance in Week 1, Johnston found the end zone again in Week 2 with a dazzling score that injected plenty of life into the Chargers sideline.
With the Raiders rushing only three lineman and dropping eight players in coverage, the Chargers offensive line gave Herbert plenty of time to let it fly.
The Chargers quarterback ripped a perfect pass to a wide open Johnston as he strolled into the end zone to quiet the fans at Allegiant Stadium.
Johnston's 60-yard score was the second-longest of his career and continued his recent dominance against the Raiders on the road.
In his past two games in Las Vegas, Johnston has 16 catches for 257 yards and a touchdown.
Key Stat
The Chargers defense balled out in the first half once again by limiting the Raiders to just six points on a pair of field goals.
Jesse Minter's group has now opened the season with back-to-back games not allowing a touchdown in the first half of a game.
It marked the seventh time since the start of last season that the Bolts have not allowed a touchdown in the opening half.
The Chargers joined the Ravens (eight), Commanders (eight), Lions (seven) and Eagles (seven) as the only teams in the NFL with at least seven of such games since 2024.
