Does Nikko Reed have your attention yet?
The Chargers rookie undrafted free cornerback has been among the stars of camp so far as he's made essentially a splashy play a day in practice.
Reed continued to shine in the Chargers preseason opener Thursday as he made plays in multiple phases.
First, Reed notched a pass breakup on Detroit's opening drive on a second-and-18 pass.
But Reed was even better on the Lions next drive as he picked off Kyle Allen and raced 60 yards on the return. Reed's takeaway set up a 2-yard touchdown run from Kimani Vidal.
Reed then tallied a tackle on Detroit's ensuing kickoff return for good measure.
As the calendar turns to August, Reed is name you need to know on the Chargers roster.
