The Chargers have announced six players will be season-long captains in 2025.
The group is split up with three offensive players and three from the defense, plus an alternate on each side of the ball.
The offensive alternate is Keenan Allen while the defensive alternate is Denzel Perryman.
Here is who will be donning the "C" for the Bolts this season (players listed alphabetically):

Joe Alt
Alt is now viewed as the leader of the Chargers offensive line room after Rashawn Slater was lost for the season with a knee injury. Alt will play left tackle this season and could establish himself as one of the game's premier tackles in 2025.

Bradley Bozeman
Bozeman is a captain for the second straight season as he will once again be the Chargers starting center. Bozeman led the Chargers in offensive snaps (1,057) a season ago and also displayed his leadership when a Saints defensive tackle tried some extracurriculars with Justin Herbert after a play.

Daiyan Henley
A first-time captain, Henley will spearhead the middle of the Chargers defense as one of the game's best young players. He led the Bolts in tackles a season ago and could cement his place as one of the NFL's best off-ball linebackers if he meets expectations.

Justin Herbert
Herbert is the face of the franchise and the Chargers best and most important player on the roster. The Bolts will go as he goes, but the quarterback should be in line for a big season given the reinforcements the Chargers made on offense around him.

Derwin James, Jr.
James once claimed the mantle as one of the league's top safeties in 2024 with an All-Pro season. James' versatility is a key ingredient to how and why the Bolts defense led the league in points allowed per game (17.7) last season.

Khalil Mack
Mack is a future Hall of Famer who has made his stamp on the organization in his four years in powder blue. A bonafide leader on and off the field, Mack routinely takes younger players under his wing, all while dominating on the field.
