The Chargers lone home preseason game is on deck.
The Bolts continue their preseason schedule Sunday at SoFi Stadium against the Saints, with kickoff at 1:05 p.m. (PT).
Taylor Heinicke will start at quarterback for the Chargers against New Orleans.
Here are five players to watch in the Chargers second preseason game:
1. RB Raheim 'Rocket' Sanders
Sanders didn't play in the Bolts preseason opener but appears to be good to go physically for this one.
Now, the undrafted rookie free agent has a chance to make a move on the running back depth chart this weekend.
Sanders has looked solid in camp practices and offers good size at 6-foot-0 and 230 pounds. But he's also the type of player who could pop in game action with real tackling.
With Najee Hampton currently on the Non-Football Injury List with an eye injury and Jaret Patterson leaving Thursday's practice with an injury, the door is open for Sanders to make a good impression.
Sanders played for Arkansas and South Carolina in college, rushing for 1,443 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2022.
2. CB Tarheeb Still
Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh said Friday that he expects Still to see some action against the Saints.
The second-year cornerback just watched the first preseason game and might not play too long this time around.
But some game reps should be good for Still, who is coming off a promising rookie campaign where he led the Chargers in interceptions (four) and pass breakups (10).
Chargers Defensive Coordinator Jesse Minter said earlier this week that the cornerback rotation was still a bit muddled at this point in camp.
While it's safe to assume Still will play a key role in 2025, a strong showing Sunday would only cement that with a month to go until the season opener.
3. QB Taylor Heinicke
Harbaugh said Heinicke is only expected to play two drives or so, but these reps will be important as Heinicke in the backup quarterback battle.
Trey Lance got the start last game and was timely and efficient, completing 13 of 20 passes for two touchdowns and no interceptions.
Heinicke is firmly in the mix to be the backup behind Justin Herbert in 2025, but a poised showing against the Saints could ensure that things remain interesting between him and Lance for the next few weeks.
4. S Myles Purchase
Purchase had one of the splashiest defensive plays of the preseason opener when he ripped the ball away from a Lions defender for a highlight-reel interception.
The undrafted free agent from Iowa State might have a tough time cracking the 53-man roster, especially since the the safety room is loaded with veterans such as Derwin James, Jr., Elijah Molden, Alohi Gilman and Tony Jefferson.
But keep in mind that the bottom portion of the roster is trying to earn practice squad spots, too.
Purchase has a chance to make another lasting impression for the second week in a row.

5. DL Justin Eboigbe
The second-year defensive lineman was among the standouts in the first week or so of camp.
But an injury stunted his upward trajectory a bit before the 2024 fourth-round pick returned to practice earlier this week.
Eboigbe played just 26 defensive snaps as a rookie but was disruptive as both a pass rusher and run stopped early on in camp.
While he is in the mix in the crowded defensive line rotation right now, Chargers coaches likely want to see Eboigbe flash in game action, too.
Keep an eye on No. 92 in the trenches when the Chargers are on defense.
