Bolts Host 6th Annual T.A.P.S. Visit Ahead of Salute to Service Game

The Bolts hosted their second Boots and Bolts visit presented by Verizon, welcoming five families from the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (T.A.P.S.). Families were treated to a special tour of the facility followed by a post-practice meet-and-greet with players. During the visit, each family shared their Fallen Hero's story and placed their hero's initials on the players' helmets in honor of Sunday's game.

Meet Zeus: The Newest Member of the Chargers Pup Fam!

The Chargers have partnered with Easterseals to welcome Zeus, a former shelter dog, as the newest member of the team's Chargers Pup program. In partnership with Paws for Life K9 Rescue, the program has followed the journeys of former shelter dogs as they train to become service animals for military veterans. Over the next six to eight months, Zeus will undergo training inside local state prisons to become a certified service animal. During this time, he'll also make regular appearances at Chargers games and community events!

Bolt Academy joins RIZE Federal Credit Union for an Interactive Financial Literacy Event

The Chargers Impact Fund, in partnership with RIZE Federal Credit Union, hosted 20 Bolt Academy Scholars for an engaging financial literacy event at The Bolt. During the experience, Scholars were challenged with real-life scenarios—complete with careers, income, debt, and family responsibilities—designed to help them practice smart decision-making and learn how to successfully manage expenses along the way.

Chargers Host 2nd Annual Battle of the Bases Flag Football Tournament for Active Duty Service Members

The 2025 Battle of the Bases Flag Football Tournament presented by American Airlines brought together 11 teams of active-duty service members from across Southern California. The Marines, Army, Army National Guard, Coast Guard, Air Force and Space Force teams came together at The Bolt for an exciting day of friendly competition on the Chargers practice field. Reigning champions – Marines from Camp Pendleton – successfully defended their title and claimed the Battle of the Bases Championship Belt!

Chargers and Oakley Host 3rd Annual Invitational Tournament

The Chargers and Oakley teamed up to host their 3rd Annual High School Girls Flag Football Invitational Tournament. The two-day event serves as a yearly celebration marking the start of the fall flag football season. Featuring 14 of the top teams from across Southern California, schools traveled from as far north as Santa Barbara and as far south as Calexico. Woodbridge High School claimed the championship in the Powder Division, while Orange Lutheran High School successfully defended their 2024 title to win the Gold Division once again this year.

Conquer Chargers Sendoff at The Bolt, Powered by Toyota

The Chargers hosted their sponsored girls flag football program, Conquer Chargers, at The Bolt for a special sendoff ahead of the upcoming NFL Flag Championships in Canton, Ohio. The event welcomed 15 teams and nearly 200 athletes, who were greeted by Chargers defensive back Deane Leonard, received a tour of the facility, and held practice on the team's fields.

The Conquer Chargers made history this year with nine teams qualifying for the NFL Flag Championships—the most ever from a single club. The program's high school team, which will be featured throughout the tournament on ESPN, NFL Network, and ABC, will be followed closely as they aim to bring home a national title.

The Chargers and Nike hosted the 4th Annual Girls Summer Event at The Bolt, welcoming over 250 girls from across Southern California. Chargers running back Omarion Hampton and wide receiver Quentin Johnston were on hand as teams competed in a variety of events, including the "Fastest Girl" race, farthest throw, and tug-of-war. Each team also played three games, with Western Christian going undefeated and taking home the championship title. St. Joseph, Orange Lutheran, Mira Costa, and Panorama rounded out the top five.

Chargers and Nike Host 5th Annual 11ON

The Chargers and Nike hosted the 5th Annual 11ON event, bringing together tackle football programs from across Southern California. Over 500 athletes participated, with Chargers wide receiver Tre Harris, tight end Oronde Gadsden, and defensive lineman Teair Tart in attendance. Skill players, along with offensive and defensive linemen, took part in various competitions. The linemen received coaching from 15-year NFL veteran and four-time Super Bowl champion Jesse Sapolu and his Men in the Trenches group. Orange Lutheran claimed the championship after going undefeated in 7-on-7 play, with Long Beach Poly, Palos Verdes, Mira Costa, and Newbury Park rounding out the top five.

Chargers and Gatorade Host 2nd Annual Bolts on the Beach Tournament

The Chargers and Gatorade teamed up to host the 2nd annual Bolts on the Beach girls flag football tournament in Huntington Beach, bringing together 42 teams and over 500 athletes from across Southern California. Chargers safety Alohi Gilman joined the event to help celebrate and crown champions across the 10U, 12U, 14U, and High School divisions.
