The Chargers are 10-4 with three games to go.

The Bolts are on the road again in Week 16 as they play the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. Kickoff from Arlington, Texas is at 10 a.m. (PT).

Here are three key Chargers stats ahead of Week 16.

1. Oweh thriving with Chargers

Odafe Oweh didn't have a sack to his name this season while he joined the Chargers via trade in October.

How times have changed.

The edge rusher tallied a pair of sacks Sunday against the Chiefs and now has 7.0 sacks since arriving to the Bolts roster.

That surpasses Montez Sweat's total of 6.0 sacks he had after being acquired by Chicago in 2023.

Oweh's presence has helped the Chargers develop a three-headed monster against opposing quarterbacks alongside Tuli Tuipulotu and Khalil Mack.

Since Week 6, Oweh has tallied 7.0 sacks while Tuipulotu has 8.0 in that timespan. Mack, meanwhile, has 4.5 sacks in eight games since returning from an elbow injury.

Overall, the Chargers totaled 27 total pressures on Sunday, their second-most in a game this season according to Pro Football Focus.

The driving force has been the play of the edge rushers, as Tuipulotu, Mack and Oweh all rank in the top 10 of total pressures among edge rushers over the last two weeks.

2. Still perfect in the AFC West

Make it another division sweep for the Chargers.

The Bolts beat the Chiefs on Sunday to secure their first season sweep of Kansas City since 2013.

The Chargers also swept the Raiders this season, marking the second straight year the Bolts have done so.

And the Chargers have also beaten Denver already in 2025, with another game against the Broncos on tap for Week 18.

Add it all up and the Bolts are 5-0 against the AFC West for the first time in franchise history.

The Chargers are now 9-2 in division games since Jim Harbaugh arrived in 2024.

3. Bolts defense is on fire

The Chargers defense was clutch Sunday, tallying a pair of fourth-quarter interceptions — by Daiyan Henley and Derwin James, Jr. — and limiting the Chiefs to just 239 yards of offense.

That was Kansas City's lowest total of the season and fewest yards in a game since Week 9 of the 2021 season.

The Chargers recorded a defensive EPA per play of -0.089 on Sunday, a number that ranked seventh in the NFL.

But the Bolts have been even better since the bye week, posting a defensive EPA of -0.202 over their past three games, a stat that ranks fourth in the league in that timespan.

Overall, the Chargers have tallied a defensive EPA per play of -0.071 this season, which ranks eighth in the NFL.

"When I was a kid, they always said defense wins championships. That's my motto," James said. "I believe in this defense."
