LOS ANGELES CHARGERS HEAD COACH ANTHONY LYNN
On T Russell Okung;
"It'll be a game-time decision for Russell, for sure. His status hasn't changed at all."
On WR Travis Benjamin:
"You never know. He is feeling a lot of pressure on his foot. He's a speed guy. It's not like it's a hamstring or an upper-body injury. You have to feel good about it before he gets back out here. We put him in a cast right now to take some of the pressure off his foot and just so he's not trying to practice [through it]."
On if the team is more cautious with Benjamin because he re-aggravated the injury:
"He just re-aggravated it. It's still the same old, same old. We just put him in a cast and want to let him rest it for a couple of weeks."
On the location of Benjamin's injury on the foot:
"His is more of a heel."
On when Benjamin injured the foot:
"This is something that has been going on and dealing with for a while. He just re-aggravated it."
On if the re-aggravation was on his two-yard reception on Sunday:
"Yes. That could have been in-field. It was a bad play — there should have been a foul called on that play, but the same thing could have happened in the field of play."
On CB Desmond King II as a returner:
"He looked good. He did that in college a little bit. He's very dependable catching the ball and he's a strong runner. He will get more yards than you think."
On if King will have the returner role on Sunday:
"We'll see. We're trying to decide who will be up and who will be down, if [WR] JJ [Jones] is up or down. That will decide that."
On P Donnie Jones:
"He looked good. That's a skill that you acquire. He's done it for a long time. He has been really good at it. I have a lot of confidence in him."
On the importance of Donnie Jones' familiarity with K Caleb Sturgis:
"I'm sure the chemistry have and had will play a big factor in our consistency in kicking extra points and field goals."
