LOS ANGELES CHARGERS HEAD COACH ANTHONY LYNN

On RB Melvin Gordon III:

"Yeah, Melvin Gordon was limited earlier in the week, but he finished strong. He's good to go."

On if Gordon is healthier than last week:

"I think he looks pretty good right now."

On TE Hunter Henry:

"Well, we still have until tomorrow to make the decision on Hunter. I thought he got better as the week went on, but we just have to step back, look at some more tape and just make sure that he's right. We'll make that decision tomorrow."

On K Nick Rose:

"[He's got a] strong leg. If we have to use him in a field goal situation if something happens to our kicker [K Michael Badgley], we're confident that he can kick field goals, but he has a strong kickoff leg. That's what we're looking at [for him]."

On if Rose will be active on Sunday:

"We brought him in for a reason."

On signing Rose:

"Our coverage units, they've been outstanding, but they cover kicks every single week. The guy that we're facing, [Patriots WR Cordarrelle] Patterson, I think he's one of the best in the business. If we can kick the ball in the end zone a little bit, I think that might help."

On Seattle not having a backup kicker having an impact on the decision to sign another:

"No, not at all."

On Sarah Thomas being slated for the first woman to officiate an NFL postseason game:

"These officials, they're the best of the best. So, Sarah must be one of the best because that's all that they bring to the playoffs and to the Super Bowl. I take my hat off to her. She's done an outstanding job."
