The Chargers' 2016 home schedule is loaded with entertaining and exciting opponents, including the defending World Champion Denver Broncos and the Chargers' AFC West rivals – the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs. The Chargers regular-season home opener will once again be a WHITE HOT SUNDAY against the up-and-coming Jacksonville Jaguars on Sept. 18. On Oct. 2, Bolts fans will see former Chargers quarterback Drew Brees for the first time as a Saint when New Orleans makes its first visit to San Diego since 2004. The Chargers will have a chance to knock off the world-champion Broncos in a nationally-televised Thursday Night Football battle on Oct. 13, while November will bring quarterback Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans on Nov. 6 when the Chargers celebrate their annual Hall of Fame & Alumni Weekend. The Miami Dolphins follow a week later on Nov. 13. December features quarterback Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Dec. 4 followed by the rival Raiders on Dec. 18. The Chiefs come to San Diego for the 2016 regular-season finale on Jan. 1.
