Philip Rivers Reacts to His Latest Rare Historic Milestone

Philip Rivers has raked in countless historic milestones over his Hall of Fame-worthy career.

Sunday's 21-0 victory over the Denver Broncos added another to his impressive resume.  It's also one of his most rare.

The win was the 100th regular season victory of Rivers' career, making him only the 15th quarterback in NFL history to reach the century mark.  He is one away from matching Jim Kelly.  Rivers is only the fifth active quarterback with 100 regular season wins.

A testament to his sustained success over the years, the milestone was particularly meaningful for the quarterback.  As he explained after the game, this accomplishment speaks a great deal to the quality teammates he's been lucky to play with over the years.

Here's what Rivers had to say about the special milestone:

"As you've all heard me say many times, I know how many guys it takes, both that are dressed in uniform, coaching and other people that are involved in helping you go out there and find a way to win.

*Being a part of 100 wins is awesome.  Many that we probably have left that could have been wins, and maybe some that we shouldn't have won that we got.  I'm just thankful to be out there for so many of them.  *

Shoot, there's a lot of awesome memories in those 100."
