Future Hall of Famer Khalil Mack spent the day after the victory over the Raiders on a special visit.
The Chargers outside linebacker recently stopped by the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, as he went around on a surprise visit.
As part of the continued partnership between UCLA Health and the Chargers, Mack went to visit different newborn children and their families, staff and people around the hospital.
Whether it was Southern California natives or people from other areas of the country, the future Hall of Famer had a chance to connect with a number of different people.
"It was more so just connecting in different ways," Mack said. "A few people from Buffalo, places that I've been and talking about where I been and in college.
"It was pretty fun to bring up old memories and talk about the different places I've been before I came to L.A," Mack added.
After making his way through the maternity floor at the hospital, handing out different Chargers merchandise like hats, socks, mini footballs and even swaddles that had "Baby Bolt" on the front.
Mack later visited children at the Chase Child Life Program, where he interacted with some of them on hand and talked to them for a little bit.
"That's everything," Mack said. "When you think about anything in life, it all comes back to whatever you can do to spread some light and give some joy.
"However that is, whether it's spreading light, spending money, doing anything you can to give in any way," Mack added.
And along the way, Mack made sure to show his appreciation for the staff too, as he signed and took pictures with everyone there.
It was something that was important for him with the work they do on a day-to-day basis.
"It's super important just understanding what they're doing and how they spend their days, being a blessing to the families that come here," Mack said. "They're doing everything to help in any way they can, being here to spread some positive light, that's all you can really ask for."
For Mack, it was another chance for him to continue the Chargers support to the community, which they all value in a big way.
"It was really cool," Mack said. "Really cool to see and be around the families and connect with everybody."
He later added: "Shoutout to UCLA Health for having me and having me come in here today to be a light and spread any positivity I can. It was a huge blessing for them to have us."
