The Chargers on Tuesday announced they have parted ways with Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman and Offensive Line coach Mike Devlin.
Each spent the past two seasons on the Chargers coaching staff, with Roman calling offensive plays during that time span.
The move comes two days after the Bolts fell to the Patriots 16-3 in Sunday night's Wild Card playoff game in New England.
Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh was asked postgame about potentially making any changes to the coaching staff after the disappointing end to the season.
"Right now, I don't have the answers," Harbaugh said. "We're going to look at that, and everything.
"We weren't good enough as a team, and that's what we do. We win as a team, we lose as a team, and that's my responsibility to have that team in a better position," Harbaugh continued.
"We'll work hard. It will be a new beginning," Harbaugh added.
The Chargers focus now turns to finding a new offensive coordinator to help elevate a roster, led by Pro Bowl quarterback Justin Herbert, that is full of offensive talent.
In addition to Herbert, the Bolts also boast a pair of Pro Bowl offensive tackles in Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt â both of whom suffered season-ending injuries earlier in the year.
Running back Omarion Hampton, the Chargers' first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, showed plenty of promise as a rookie before an ankle injury set him back, as did rookie wide out Tre' Harris and first-year tight end Oronde Gadsden.
Paired with Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston, both of whom have flashed massive big-play ability early in their careers, and the future is very bright for the Bolts offense entering the offseason.
