Chargers Trade Dontrelle Inman to Bears

Inman joined the Bolts in 2014 after spending two years in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts.  He appeared in 41 games with 23 starts over the past four seasons, totaling 107 receptions for 1,463 yards and seven touchdowns.  He started all 16 games a year ago, setting career-highs with 58 catches for 810 yards and four touchdowns.  Inman appeared in four games this year, catching two passes for nine yards.  After being inactive Week 1, he's been a healthy scratch the past two games now that wide receiver Mike Williams is healthy.

This marks the second trade the Chargers have made this season as they acquired quarterback Cardale Jones from the Buffalo Bills in July in exchange for a conditional draft pick. This is also the first in-season trade for the team since 2007, when they acquired WR Chris Chambers from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a second-round pick.
