The Los Angeles Chargers practice squad now stands at eight as the Bolts signed former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Joseph Jones on Monday.
The 6-1, 240-pound Northwestern product signed as an undrafted free agent with the Cowboys this offseason. He led Dallas this preseason with 15 total tackles and 12 solo stops. As a senior last year for the Wildcats, Jones posted 46 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, four passes defensed as one fumble recovery in 13 games.
Jones joins Brett Boyko, Michael Davis, Randall Evans, Andre Patton, Whitney Richardson, Artavis Scott and Andre Williams on the practice squad. There are still two openings available, so stay tuned for additional information.
