Chargers Sign Chris Landrum to Active Roster; Waive Pierre Desir

With Jerry Attaochu out for Sunday's game against the Falcons with an ankle injury, the San Diego Chargers have signed fellow outside linebacker Chris Landrum to the active roster off the practice squad.  To make room, the team waived cornerback Pierre Desir.

Landrum is a 6-2, 245-pound edge rusher who transitioned to outside linebacker this offseason after joining the Bolts as an undrafted free agent.  He recorded five tackles, 0.5 sacks and one fumble recovery in the preseason. Landrum played defensive end at Jacksonville State, recording 64 tackles, 19.0 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks in 2015. He initially made the 53-man roster, but transitioned to the practice squad before the season opener.
