Chargers Set to Get Up Close Look at Local Prospects

The Los Angeles Chargers will host their annual local pro day on Thursday for prospects who attended colleges or high schools in and around Southern California.

Over 30 prospects will be on hand at Hoag Performance Center, hoping to make an impression that could lead them to becoming the next member of the Bolts.

"It gives us another chance to see some of these players up close and personal, whether they meet with our coaches and do some work in the classroom, or we put them on the field and do some more drill work with them," said General Manager Tom Telesco.  "Whether it's a player who played at a high school in the area or whether they played in college, they have a chance to come in and work with some NFL coaches for the day and be around some NFL scouts for a day.  I think it's pretty exciting for them."
