The San Diego Chargers released CB Steve Williams on Tuesday, ending the former fifth-round pick's second stint with the team.
Originally selected in the 2013 NFL Draft, Williams was waived at the start of the season after spending three years with the Bolts. He subsequently joined the Los Angeles Rams for a few weeks before returning to San Diego prior to Week 5's game vs. the Oakland Raiders. Williams appeared in five games with two starts for the Chargers this year, totaling 11 tackles and three passes defensed.
