Chargers Great Returns as Coaching Intern

He's a member of the Chargers 50th Anniversary Team.

Now, at 40-years old, Jamal Williams will return to the field with the Bolts at this year's training camp.

Just don't expect him to be lacing up his cleats. Instead of taking on double teams, "Jamal the Wall" will serve as a coaching intern assisting the defensive line.

Williams spent 12 years as a staple in the middle of San Diego's defense, finishing with 310 tackles, 13 sacks and three forced fumbles over 12 years. He also became a fan favorite for doing the dirty work, gobbling up multiple linemen in order to free up his teammates.

In addition to cementing his place on the team's 50th Anniversary Team, the nose tackle was a three-time All Pro selection and three-time Pro Bowler during his Chargers career.

Be sure to give Williams a big welcome when you see him at Chargers Park, and we'll have more from him this weekend.
