Fans will get an opportunity to meet some of their favorite Chargers at the San Diego Blood Bank's 38th annual Chargers Drive on Tuesday, Nov. 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Town & Country Convention Center in Mission Valley.
The event will feature continuous entertainment, refreshments and an opportunity for autographs from Chargers players and the Charger Girls. The best time for autographs is from 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Grand Exhibit Hall.
Admission to Chargers Drive 38 is $5 per person. Blood donors may request a refund of their admission price after they donate. Blood donors also receive a Chargers Drive 38 T-shirt, VIP wristband for the autograph line, and parking validation. Parking cost at the hotel for other attendees is $4 per hour ($8 maximum).
Blood collected at Chargers Drive 38 will help hospital patients in the San Diego community and beyond. Blood donations are especially critical at this time of year because donations often decrease during the holidays while the need for more blood often can increase.
