Bolts Share Special Messages for Mom on Mother's Day

We checked in with a number of Chargers to find out what they want to tell their mom on Mother's Day.

Jason Verrett: "Happy Mother's Day, mom!  I wouldn't be where I am today without you.  You're the reason why I go so hard.  I try to do half of what you've done for our family.  I love you and appreciate everything you've done for us.  You mean everything."

Keenan Allen: "Mama!  You already know everything I'd want to tell you.  I love you.  Happy Mother's Day. I appreciate everything.  All the support.  All the blessings.  I am where I am today because of you."

Manti Te'o: "You're the queen!  I couldn't be here without you.  You have always been the one who kept our family calm, and are the pillar of strength in our family."

Danny Woodhead: "I've gotten very, very lucky in my mom and my wife.  Mom, the way you raised me and loved me unconditionally growing up means the world.  And to my wife, you are the one who keeps things running at home.  You're awesome, and I'm so, so blessed to have you as the mother of our kids.  You're both unbelievable, so happy Mother's Day."

Travis Benjamin: "Mom, I appreciate all you've done for me over the years.  You are the strongest and most determined person I've ever known.  To my mom and my wife, I love you both and hope you have a Happy Mother's Day."

Casey Hayward: *"Happy Mother's Day.  I love you and want to thank you for everything you've ever done for me.  Thank you for being there through all the tough times and all the smooth times.  I know you're going through a lot with radiation treatment, and I love you."  *

Melvin Gordon: "Mom, I just want to tell you Happy Mother's Day.  I love you very much.  This is your special day, but I don't just cherish one day.  Every day is Mother's Day for us.  You've been a great mom to me my entire life.  I know you will continue to be, and I love you for it!"

King Dunlap: "Happy Mother's Day, mom.  Without you I wouldn't be who I am or where I am.  I love you to death."

Brandon Flowers: "I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you, mom.  Happy Mother's Day.  The discipline you instilled in me in an early age has stuck with me throughout life.  I know that is what helped me get where I am, and I owe it all to you. And to Tiffany, you are the best mom ever to our daughter.  All our memories; it's incredible.  You make my life so much better, and I can't wait to continue this adventure with you."

Branden Oliver: "Thank you mom for all the sacrifices you made to help me play football and reach this level.  Looking back, whenever I got in trouble you always helped me.  You are my best supporter.  You put food for us on the table, and are a hard working woman.  I love you and thank God for you every day."

D.J. Fluker: "Thank you mom for bringing me life.  I am grateful for you for always being there for us through the hard times.  You've kept everyone together.  I appreciate you very much."

Jahleel Addae: "Happy Mother's Day, mom!  Thanks for carrying me for nine months, and my whole life.  Thanks for the motivation in everything I do.  You inspire me."

Javontee Herndon: "I love you mom.  I appreciate all you've done for me, and I do all of this for you!"

Dwight Lowery: "Mom, you taught me my work ethic and pushed me to accomplish my goals.  You provided me the opportunity to focus on making it to this level.  And to my wife, thank you for putting up with me!  I know I can be a lot to put up with at times. Thanks for being there for all of us."

Tyrell Williams: "Mom, I wish I can be there with you today, but you know I love you.  I have something set up for you and grandma, so I hope you enjoy it!"

Josh Lambo: "Happy Mother's Day.  It's a tough to put everything into words, but thank you for shaping me into the person that I am today."

Kellen Clemens: "The only thing I can say to my mother and my wife is just thank you.  It's a daily sacrifice you both make to be a mom, and you do a great job.  So thank you, and have a great Mother's Day."

Darrell Stuckey: "Mom, I want to thank you for the work you put in all these years to put me in the position to become better.  You've always put me in a position to be successful and have resources.  You always knew what your child needs and how to give it to me, and that is what being a parent is all about.  And to my wife, I just want to thank you for not only being a mother to our kids, but also a mother to me this offseason through my recovery! As a mom you have to juggle so many things, and you are always there for our kids.  They never want to let you go and always want you. You are an amazing mother."

Chris Watt: "Happy Mother's Day.  Thanks for always supporting me in everything that I do, and involving me in things I may not have wanted to do but were always best for me.  And thanks for always cooking the best meals I've ever had in my life!"

Dontrelle Inman: "Thank you mom for pushing me to be where I am today.  Thank you for loving me despite anything I've done wrong.  You helped me learn from my mistakes. I want to tell you that I love you, so happy Mother's Day."

Joe Barksdale: "I love you mom.  You have always been focused on education, so thanks for being there. And thanks for not kicking me out of the house!"
