Bolts Charging Up Power Rankings

Following the Chargers comeback victory over the Falcons, they have climbed in all NFL power rankings and on average have jumped up five spots.

ESPN.com has moved the Bolts into the top 15, 14th to be exact, and have this to say after their second straight win:

"Joey Bosa has recorded 4.0 total sacks in two of his three games and San Diego ranks in the top 10 in sacks and pressure percentage. They'll be chasing after the Broncos in Week 8"

ESPN revealed something that most are saying: Joey Bosa is putting up a great numbers and should be in consideration for Defensive Rookie of the Year. The Bolts young defense is growing up right in-front of our eyes which is the main reason CBS.com ranks the Chargers 11th. Here is what they have to say:

"This is a team that seems to be growing up. Now they face a stiff road test at Denver after impressive victories the past couple of weeks."

NFL.com named the Chargers the league's must watch team, and in their power rankings, moved them up seven spots to 17.  It was the biggest jump in the standings for any team. Here is what they said:

"When the defense steps up the way it has the last two weeks. Holy cow, Joey Bosa has gone all J.J. Watt on the NFL."

If the defense continues to gel while the offense keeps clicking, the Chargers are likely to continue ascending in the power rankings.
