The wait is over Chargers fans – the 2016 NFL regular season is upon us. It's been a whirlwind 48 hours for the Bolts, but take a look at some notes and what players have had to say on social media as we head into Week 1.

While many Chargers players posted how thankful they are on social media to make the team's 53-man roster, Joe Barksdale took to Instagram to share a special congratulatory message to Dexter McCoil. Turns out he and McCoil go back a few years and although they play on opposite sides of the field, it's clear number 72 is proud.
