One of the Bolts' most active pass rushers is back in the fold as DE Tenny Palepoi was added to the 53-man roster from the Reserve/Suspended list. To make room, the team waived DE Isaac Rochell.
After missing the entire 2015 campaign due to a foot injury suffered in training camp, Palepoi proved to be a valuable reserve up front in 2016. His nine QB hits ranked third on the team while his 20 quarterback pressures ranked fourth. Palepoi also finished with 23 tackles, two tackles for loss and one fumble recovery in 13 games.
Meanwhile, Rochell was the Chargers' seventh-round pick in this year's NFL Draft out of Notre Dame. He recorded one tackle Monday night in Denver.
Finally, the Bolts announced that cornerback Jeff Richards has been signed to the practice squad. Richards was waived from the active roster on Monday in order to add WR Geremy Davis.
