Devin Woodhouse enters his third season as head strength and conditioning coach for the Chargers in 2026. He brought 10 years of experience to the Bolts working with both college and professional athletes and has now worked in strength and conditioning for seven seasons in the NFL.
Woodhouse was the assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Michigan working with Head Coach Jim Harbaugh and executive director of player performance Ben Herbert during the 2023 season. His work with the Wolverines aided in the development of the program, resulting in a College Football Playoff National Championship. Prior to his season in Ann Arbor, Woodhouse held the same position at the University of Wisconsin for two seasons (2021-22).
Prior to his college coaching career Woodhouse served as an academy strength and conditioning coach with FC Dallas, where he was responsible for player athletic development from 2019-20.
He broke into the NFL by spending five seasons contributing to the staff of the Kansas City Chiefs. Originally joining the club as an intern for the 2014-15 seasons, Woodhouse was promoted to a full-time capacity in 2016, working as an assistant strength and conditioning coach over the next three seasons. Over his five seasons in Kansas City, he helped the Chiefs clinch four postseason berths and win three-straight AFC West crowns, appearing in an AFC Championship Game his final season with the team.
A graduate of California Baptist University, Woodhouse holds esteemed certifications in the strength and conditioning profession (CSCS).
He and his wife, Drew Ann, are the parents of daughters, Blake and Brigitte, and sons, Reid and Deacon.
