What the Jaguars Said About the Bolts

On Philip Rivers and the Chargers offense...

"Philip Rivers is an unbelievable quarterback.  The fact that we gave up some explosive plays to them, we have to give them some credit, too. We have to give them a lot of credit, actually.  They're very, very talented." – LB Paul Posluszny

"When you lose a guy like Keenan Allen, that's tough for any team because he's a great player, but also Philip Rivers I think the credit he deserves is what he does under situations like that.  They had a lot of injuries on the offensive line last year and he played very well.  He's guy that really responds well to adversity and the team feels him and he's a great player." – HC Gus Bradley

On the turnovers and penalties….

"We had turnovers early.  Anytime you have turnovers in this league, parity is so good that it just starts snowballing and I think that's what happened.  Too much happening and we couldn't recover." – TE Marcedes Lewis

*"I think we kind of took ourselves out of rhythm by doing stupid stuff, the turnovers and penalties. We talked about trying to win on third down and staying ahead on first and second down but we weren't able to do that.  We had three turnovers in the first half, all completely our fault.  It's hard to win when you play like that." – QB Blake Bortles *

On Jason Verrett Covering Allen Robinson…

"I think it is important to get him involved, so we'll take a look at it. I know they did some different things coverage wise for him so we'll take a look at that. He's got to learn to expect that playing in this game and we still have to find ways to get him involved." – HC Gus Bradley

* "It is what we're going to see every week.  Guys are not going to leave him on-on-one with anybody.  For the most party they're going to have somebody helping guard him, so we're going to have to find ways to get him the ball." – QB Blake Bortles*

On difficulties playing on the West Coast…

"Other than the obvious (thing) as far as time zones and stuff like that, I don't know. We still have to go out there and handle our business and we didn't get it done." TE Marcedes Lewis

"West coast teams have to come to the east coast and they win.  So it shouldn't be an issue.  Yes, it is a long flight but we should be able to say 'who cares. We're going to play at a high level anywhere, anytime.  It doesn't matter' So we need to be able to fix that." – LB Paul Posluszny
