Bolts Catch Olympics Fever

With the Olympics underway and the Chargers enjoying an off day, some players shared which events they'll be tuning in to watch this year:

Danny Woodhead:  My whole family likes to watch the gymnastics together.  It's good bonding with my wife and older daughter especially.  I also like track and field.

Kyle Emanuel: Track and field, but also swimming for Michael Phelps.  I watched him live in Omaha.  He's unreal.

Manti Te'o: I like watching track.  I like watching races.  I ran track one year but it's nice to see guys who actually are fast!

Corey Liuget: I'm the only world-class athlete I care about!  I'm joking.  Seriously though, I'll watch the Olympics.  Everybody likes track and field but shot-put is also cool, too.

King Dunlap: The 4X100, 200 and 400 because my mom and sister ran those!  I also like to watch Michael Phelps.

Antonio Gates: Basketball!

Travis Benjamin: I ran track, so I will watch all those races.

Zach Mettenberger: Golf; watching rugby (is) cool.  Gymnastics is always awesome; so many sports to choose from.

Tyrell Williams: I like the 200 meter sprints.

Jason Verrett: USA Basketball!

Ryan Carrethers: I usually like luge where the people are laying on their backs sliding down ice, but this is the Summer Olympics.  I'll watch soccer.

Kenneth Farrow: Usually track because I ran it in high school.

Joe Barksdale: The weightlifting is pretty cool; I like to see the power lifters.  I actually have a frat brother who's on the U.S. power lifting team this year.

Kellen Clemens: Golf and track.
